Each dormitory room offers bunk beds with privacy curtains, a reading light, electrical outlets and a locker. There is access to a shared bathroom and toilet. Perfect location, really loved this hostel. Definitely more of a quieter vibe which I loved but still lots of people to meet. Rooms were clean, common area was relaxing with refreshments available. I loved that they had a whole book of things to do and bus routes to take for sightseeing, really useful and a great touch! The breakfast provided was simple but lovely everyday, and the owners were super friendly. They also provided towels and a locker with a padlock!! Amazing!

Au Petit chez Soi is situated on the beachfront in Cassis, 400 metres from Grande Mer and 700 metres from Bestouan. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Anne-Marie was a friendly, helpful, welcoming host with lots of information about Calanques National Park and all the beaches in the area. She is a native French speaker but can communicate in English. I couldn’t ask for more from a hostel! The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful and charming, with lots of plants, and places to hang wet clothes. The location is a five minute walk from the center, and the port, and there are restaurants even closer. There is a stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, two communal bathrooms and showers. The property is very quaint but there is lots of space, with only six people per room (there are two rooms total) However, other amenities aren’t plentiful. -no laundry machines, but there is a laundromat right down the street with washers and dryers for roughly €10 - very minimal free breakfast -like many hostels in Europe, you pay a few euros for city tax in cash at the end of your stay -not a party hostel at all but everyone was friendly and had great vibes (which I prefer)

Guests at Chalet le Genepy with amazing views! can enjoy a continental breakfast at an additional charge. I much enjoyed the friendly staff and the incredible setting high in the mountains. I also enjoyed the food and the restored, very old farmhouse. I think I will keep coming back here, it really ticks off all my boxes as athlete and nature lover.
