Housed in a historic building, Mingtown Suzhou Youth Hostel features classic Chinese-style architecture and simple accommodation with wooden furnishings. The Humble Administrator’s Garden is a 15-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.

The location of this hostel was spot on: in the old town, very central, and yet quiet at night. Also, it is only 10 minutes away on foot to the metro station so it can be easily reached from the Suzhou railway station. The hostel itself is cute, with traditional architecture and a nice inner garden. The room was clean and luminous, but not very spacious.
