I was in Takamatsu for the Setouchi Trienniale, and Wakamiya san was so friendly and sincere, giving me lots of useful tips that can’t be found online and even suggested many ways I can maximise my time there. You can really tell that he is passionate in what he do, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The rooms were also superbly clean and comfortable, and fresh towels were provided every day. Can’t recommend this guesthouse enough, and I’m looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Takamatsu!

The location was conveniently near a grocery store, a beach, and a train station. I personally loved the decor, and the kitchen/common area was well set up with utensils for cooking, eating, a few games, and local sightseeing info.
