Offering garden views, Merdeka Guest House 2 is an accommodation situated in Kuching, 5.5 km from Sarawak Stadium and 10 km from Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. The host is just from another world. I arrived late (around 22h30) and even though he likes to wake up at 4h30, we kept talking for about half an hour. Then, he goes: "do you want me to show you around?" >> he went on giving me a guided kuching tour in his car. He even wanted to buy me a drink but no shops were open at midnight. Besides this, he would leave traditional sweets for breakfast every day. Legend!!

The chalet was clean and the bathroom was wonderful. it was equipped with heaters, even the toilet seat was heated. they even prepared heating blanket. the manager mr wong was very friendly and accommodating. the gardener gave us a bunch of fruits which is plucked off the tree. so sweet!

If you want to have some relaxing days in nature at a wonderful place with wonderful people, you should definitley gi there. Not a lot of places and people like Poly and Louise are touching me like that when I am traveling. We‘d love to come back!
