Glory is the most amazing host, right from check-in experience, she helped me with my phone, laundry, cooked homely delicious meals and much more. She was always attentive, spoke clear English and was always kind and friendly! I stayed at the bungalow for couple of nights and then came back and stayed again for few nights after Kilimanjaro, the bungalow is very beautiful, comfortable, private and super functional, the bathroom is beautifully decorated, inspired from nature and with really strong pressured hot water. The main house is very nice too, the garden is so beautiful and calming, multiple setting and relaxing areas and the nicest self-service bar!. They also have the most beautiful dog Julie, she was my princess, I took her for long walks and hikes to the nearby rivers, she added a lot to the charm of the place and made this hideaway even more homely. The owner Azizi is a very cool guy, of course he is, not only he did an amazing job building and decorating this amazing hideaway, he is a DJ and a bar tender as well. We hanged out and went for a hike to Paradise cafe at the river less than 30 minutes walk from the hotel. Honestly it was the best place I stayed in magical Tanzania. The place, personnel and Julie (the dog) has touched my heart and made my experience in Arusha an unforgettable and healing one. Please take Julie for walks and love her, she is a very good girl! Ask Azizi for directions to Paradise cafe by the river near by and enjoy !

Featuring a garden and a shared lounge, Mazzola Safari House & Backpacking is located in Mianzini area, 1.4 km from Selian Town Clinic. For the price, this place can't be beat! I only stayed 1 night as I was moving on early the next morning, but during my short time here, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful, and the room was super comfortable. Innocent even got up early at 6am in the morning to communicate with the driver picking me up and to see me off. I definitely recommend a stay here!
