Our room was so quiet and comfy and the shared toilet and shower was clean and spacious. The kitchen was so well stocked (spices, utensils, pans, etc). This guest house is better than the pictures! The views in and around the house are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the front deck with an amazing view of the mountains. The owner was eager to help make us comfortable and offer suggestions on what to do in the area :) thank you!!

Offering free WiFi and set on the bank of a stream, Chalet Karaka offers accommodation 3 minutes' drive from Takaka village in Golden Bay. Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts offer two different accommodation types and is located between Richmond and Mapua on the road to the Abel Tasman National Park. The glamping tent was awesome. Secluded spot, away from the rest of the accomodation. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Really cosy room and comfy bed. As the name describes it (glamping), the room is very small but the bed is comfy and the linen was really nice. The description lists the accommodation as a shared bathroom but I had it all to myself (along with kitchenette and laundry) which was certainly nice for this solo traveller! I later learnt that for the moment, the individuals or group who have booked have exclusive use of the bathroom which you’re not sharing it with strangers (there are two other glamping cabins). Everything was immaculately clean. The accommodation is on the edge of town but I liked the location as it’s closer to the coast and a swimming spot. Communication with the owner was fab, she even suggested a few dinner spots which was thoughtful.

Mapua에 자리한 Private Guest House에서는 무료 자전거, 정원, 무료 Wi-Fi 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 넬슨 크라이스트 처치 대성당에서 32km, 트라팔가르 공원에서 33km 거리에 있습니다. This was a very spacious apartment, with views of the lovely garden, right outside the wide windows. We barbecued on the patio, sheltered by the upstairs balcony, a lovely sunny spot for breakfast too. Everything in the place was top quality, with everything you could need for a self catering stay. A very comfortable bed, with super linens and fluffy towels. The laundry facilities were very useful on our long trip away. A pair of bikes to use, made such a difference for us. Very friendly owners too, so thank you for a wonderful stay.
