The guesthouse is located adjacent to seaport so you can feel and smell the sea breeze, also it is only walking distance to open markets that sells everything you need. The guesthouse is very hommy and the owner is very friendly and can speaks few languages fluently (Chinese, English, Indonesian...). I recommend to choose family room with sea view if you travel with 4-5 people. Big room, seaport view with seagulls chirping sound every morning. There is also recommended seafood restaurant at around 200 m back of the hotel, but you need to come before closing time at 8.15 pm. Will definitely stay in this guesthouse if we go back to Sokcho.

He really helped me have an amazing time in Gangnueng. This property is so close to the traditional market which is brimming with good smells and things to try. Probably the nicest I’ve seen in Korea. You can also get a bus quite easily to the lake and beach areas. You can even get a coach to and from Serokasan mountain if you leave early enough! It’s a clean, quite place where you can make a nice breakfast or relax after a day seeing Gangnueng.

The location is really suitable for the sledding activities, and my kids enjoys so much. Whenever they feel cold, they can get back to the room immediately and being warm up. After that, they can come out to play again. How I wish i book this place for 2 nights. 1 night is really not enough. A big thumbs up to the Host.
