It is near a hill and provides a great view. It was clean and had everything we needed for a night there. We enjoyed the quietness and the stillness that we looked for.

Located only 3 km from the entrance to Turda Gorges, Pensiunea Cheile Apusenilor offers mountain and the lake views, free WiFi and a restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. I liked the superbity of the landscaoe, the rooms were incredibile big, very very clean and with good taste furniture. I enjoyed a lot the kindness of the host, the very good food and i felt like we were the most important guests for them 🙂. Lovely.

It is owned by a great and hospitable couple who speak little English but enough to understand basic questions and give answers. I felt like if they knew English more or we knew Romanian, we would have nice chatting with them. Our room had a private balcony with the nice view, and also there is a bigger shared terrace where we asked to have breakfast at. The breakfast can be arranged per need for a reasonable price and the hosts asked us if we have any specific requests. As we didn’t have any and just asked for traditional local breakfast, we received huge plates with a boiled egg, cheese, meat, chicken and vegetables, bread, jam, butter, and coffee. There is a parking on the yard of the property, so we didn’t have to worry about where to leave the car. Overall, we had great experience at this place and highly recommend it. It has a suitable location on the way for those going to Ukrainian border at Solotvyno.
