We are an italian couple living in Luxembourg. We decided to spend a night near Lake Maggiore and we chose this charming location. It has been a wonderful surprise and we are looking to coming back this summer! The house is totally in shabby chic and every detail is carefully taken care of. It is surrounded by a very big and beautiful park, with big trees which are beginning to blossom. In the house there is every facilities and comfort, like bathrooms linens, toothbrush, disposable slippers, coffee machine with pods, and in the bed we found linen sheets. Very accurate details and fresh flower have been our welcome here. The location is in addition very close to the lake Maggiore and the beach, a plus for the summer, when we will come back for sure!

A lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. There were wonderful views from our balcony overlooking Lago di Maggiore and the high mountains beyond. The food in the restaurant was first class as it was in the the Bistrot Imbarcado, which the hotel also runs, and where the seating is alongside the lake. A good ferry service from Porto Valtravaglia makes it easy to visit Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and market day in Luino. We will certainly be back!

The location of the property was good, there was a view of Lake Maggiore, albeit interrupted by other apartments. The apartment was big enough for 2 people and the host was very helpful and suggested a restaurant for a special meal, which was a good choice. The Parco Hermitage pool and grounds were lovely. As was the wine and food left as a welcome gift, that was a nice touch.

The property is beautiful and so is the view from the balcony. Manuel is brilliant, greeted me outside, helped me with parking, it was late in the day so helped me with a reservation at a local restaurant which turned out to be the best meal I’ve had in Italy! My room was perfect, everything I needed, lovely balcony. I had a bath which was exactly what I needed to unwind! Cracking stay, I’ll be coming back to show my partner!

The location is absolutely stunning and the apartment is top-notch. Everything works, is clean and well maintained. The quality of furnishings is way above the average of rental apts. Our host, Olga, was responsive and kind, and made it possible for us to enjoy a fantastic week. Some more practical info: the private parking space behind the property can accommodate two midsize cars. The kitchen is very well equipped and comes with countless practical items that you'll find useful (but did not bring with you). If you're a hiker, there are plenty of well-marked trails all around the village. The XII Century priory ("Canonica") is no more than 200 yards away but you need to find the right trail that leads to it. If you stand on the property's terrace overlooking the lake, directly below the left-side corner, there's a sign that points in the direction of Trail 207c, but this trail is nothing more than a meter-wide space between two fences that run up a steep hill. Climb that narrow path for a hundred meters or so and you will reach the top of the hill. Another hundred meters ahead, the "Canonica" will be on your right. For dining out, the "Cortiletto" restaurant lies three minutes away in the village center and is an absolute gem (closed on Thu.). If you like to drive around, I recommend the lakeside village of Porto Valtravaglia. Don't forget to check out the "Pasticceria dei Portici" for sandwiches and pastries (except Tues.). But there are dozens of other things you can do when staying in Brezzo, from visiting the open-air market in Luino (every Wed.) to taking a ferry boat ride across Lake Maggiore.
