Exceptionally smart, artsy and lovely equipped apartment. It has to the smallest detail anything you could need during your stay. Extremely neat and clean. Balcony with the sea view, and extra terrace under the fig and Bay leaf tree. Harmony of smell strucks you right away. Closest beach is only 2min away. Now the host. Mojca is someone you want to pack with your stuff and bring home. I felt she is like my big sister making sure I am taken good care of. Please be kind to her and this little heaven she created for us to share with.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! Amazing interior, reflecting the outside environment, very clean, well equipped, breathtaking view and only a short walk (down the hill) from lovely small beaches. This place is a real gem of Stara Baska, especially perfect for introvert couples who are looking for a quiet and calm getaway. We sincerely hope other guests will know how to appreciate and take care of it so it remains as beautiful and pristine as it is. Last but certainly not least: Mojca is such an amazing and kind host who goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. And some yummy local surprises (her homemade fig marmalade is to die for!) that waited for us in the apartment were just "the icing on the cake". :) Will absolutely return!

We wanted to spend some days in a remote part of Krk Island but within reach to the cities. MaraMare is near the south end of the island which means the beaches below (100 stairsteps below) are definitely not crowded. While our friends stayed on busy beaches we had real calm and plenty of space. At one evening we had a great grill in the garden with our friends, and our Hosts were more than helpful. During our whole stay our Hosts were very kind, and helpful, to make ourselves feel comfortable. They know many key info about the island and have some extra tips how and where to park, how and what to reach around.

The place has a huge seaview terrace, that has a shade over it, so you can spend time there throughout the day. It is really nicely decorated and the owner is really nice and helpful, with a touch of an eccentric artist about him. The garden below is an art installation, that is done really nicely, and you can also see the owners artwork in some other places in Stara Baška (Felix grill benches, beach Zala) The nearest beach is really beautiful and not too crowded. The Beaches in Stara Baška are very beautiful in general and the water is really clean.

Nice location on the hill. Nice view. Small apartment on ground floor with place to park car, we liked the porch outside with chairs to enjoy morning and evenings. Small grill is available too. Nice host family. Baska beach 35 minutes by walk through open fields with good view.

The hostess was very friendly even we couldn't speak same language I could feel warmth . The room was clean and tidy , we have our separate entrance . With balcony with the view to the sea. Would say refurbished newly, just style is retro . Overall very very happy with the stay and would stay again if in Baska. Close distance to the sea ,can walk around 20mins, but car parking is provided in the town as well.
