The loghouse is surrounded by mountains featured with beautiful sceneries, and just with 5~8 minutes walk from the valley center. The house is big, clean and tidy, everything is well-ornanized and there is wine for drinking and a book of kind tips for better visiting Hallstatt. Everything we need is in the loghouse and easily to be found, btw there is also a kitchen in the house and full sets of kitchenware. The owner of the house we lived in always respond our questions in time and so friendly. We have really enjoyed and relaxed ourselves during the 3 days visit, and can't help looking forward to visiting Hallstatt and living in the loghouse again in the near future.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Tamara, the host of Pension Hallberg. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing me to check in early so that I could settle in and start exploring the beautiful surroundings right away. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens were of the highest quality, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. What really made my stay at Pension Hallberg so special, however, was the level of hospitality and care that Tamara provided throughout my visit. She was always available to answer my questions and offer recommendations on places to visit and things to do in the area, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. The guesthouse itself is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by stunning scenery and offering easy access to local attractions and activities. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or an action-packed adventure, Pension Hallberg is the perfect base from which to explore the area. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Pension Hallberg to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the area. I don't even know where to start with this place! First off, pics don't do it justice. The property is much nicer and larger than it looks. There's a playhouse with slide and rope swing for kids, a huge trampoline (that my kids spent most of their time on) and an awesome firepit, which we used every night! The house is large with plenty of space for 5 people. Rooms are large and beds were very comfortable. The owners were SO accommodating with everything they provided in the house and on the property! Our kids LOVED all the toys! It is so uncommon to find accommodations like that for kids, it's always much appreciated!! The only thing I could recommend is a fan! We generally travel w/fans (because we're always hot lol) this time we forgot! But, it is common for most accommodations in Europe to not provide them- just a suggestion, doesn't affect your stay here lol. The property offers everything you need!! We had such an incredible time! The walk into town is less than 15 min if you're fast walkers like we are! You can go either way out of the driveway, we preferred taking the right direction across the bridge, a bit prettier! There are beautiful trails and waterfalls within 30 min of the house, go, it's so pretty! The mountains are SO gorgeous, do the salt mine, especially if you have kids- it's a super easy walk into town (my kids are 6&8 for reference). I can't recommend this place enough, it was so perfect- location, house, property, everything!! Highly recommend!!
