Located in Kyoto, a 10-minute walk from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, MUNI KYOTO by Onko Chishin provides accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a garden and a terrace. The hotel is very new and you can tell from its facilities. The room itself was enormous, even for a party of 3. We were able to ask for a sofa bed to be put in place, which was already set up for us by the time we came back for dinner. The service was exceptional, with all of the staff speaking great English and one of the staff speaking enough Chinese to explain to us the hotel facilities and the nearby attractions. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Luxury hotel a few steps away from JR Saga Arashiyama. Reception area was tiny though. Took a while in checking-in bec needed to verify payment witg very little English so a lot of google translate uaed. Other than that, would have loved to stay longer regardless of my destination.

Well located in the Nishikyo Ward district of Kyoto, Kadensho, Arashiyama Onsen, Kyoto - Kyoritsu Resort is located a 19-minute walk from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 2.3 miles from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji... The food was amazing, as are the private baths that guests have access to. Using them was hassle-free and the place was well-maintained even with a rustic feel. Very foreigner-friendly.

Located in Kyoto and with Arashiama Bamboo Grove reachable within a 15-minute walk, Yado Arashiyama provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. The overall service at Yado is outstanding. We had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and prepared for us with detail und care, a once in a lifetime experience. During our stay we had some personal complications and the staff helped us beyond their requirements to resolve our problem. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

Attractively located in the Nishikyo Ward district of Kyoto, Riverside Arashiyama is located a 17-minute walk from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 2.2 miles from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and 2.9 miles from... We enjoyed the location - 20 minute train ride from centre of Kyoto, walking distance to the Bamboo Forest and surrounds. We best liked that we had the town to ourselves before and after day-trippers.

Rooms were nice and the beds the most comfortable I've stayed in japan. Staff couldn't be more helpful. I really great stay. Highly recommended. Location and views were fantastic.

Renovated in 2014, Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama offers a restaurant, a café and a public bath. JR Sagaarashiyama Train Station and Torokko Saga Station is just a minutes’ walk away. Loved this hotel for a second time. Access from JR Saga Arashiyama station could not be easier! A perfect choice to enable an early stroll along the bamboo path. The breakfast is a very novel experience: with an English brochure and help at hand, guests make their own tofu at their table. The small cafe is also very convenient for lunch. Nearby Randen line gives access to many other iconic places in north-west Kyoto.

Located right along the gentle streams of Katsura River and boasting a beautiful Japanese garden, Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto offers the perfect getaway for travelers seeking peace and... Peace and quiet. Scenery was amazing. Food was very good.

Only 5 minutes from JR Saga Arashiyama Station with the free shuttle, Sun Members Kyoto Saga offers Western rooms, free WiFi in all guest rooms and the lobby, and a restaurant. I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
