Set between Florence Peretola Airport and the city’s historic center, this small hotel is 2953 feet from Careggi Hospital. Here you will find free parking, large rooms and a friendly atmosphere. The location was very, very convenient, it's less than 10 minutes into the central train station, and the trains come very frequently. The hotel itself was very lovely, clean, and well maintained. There are good restaurants nearby, while still being quiet at night. And above all, the hosts were so friendly and helpful, they really brightened by stay here.

Set in a residential area, Hotel Careggi is a 10-minute bus drive from Florence's historic center. This small hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and excellent transport links. Staff were friendly, lift up to apartments, clean, great location just outside of town with easy tram access

Just a 5-minute walk from both the Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Careggi hospital and Firenze Rifredi Train Station, Albergo Sonia is open since the early 1970s. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi. Handy for the tram into Florence and found a lively local restaurant nearby.

Situated in the residential area of Careggi, this 3-star hotel occupies a quiet position yet within easy reach of the historic and commercial center of Florence. the staff was really nice. We`ve been in a hurry and left the camera. Boxed and send me home.

The location of the hotel is very nice, and it's very easy to reach Florence. This was truly wonderful. When we arrived at the door, we were greeted nicely. The room was designed in a way that befits Florence and was very charming. A shared kitchen is available, and you can use it as you like. Everything you need in the room was provided. I highly recommend choosing this place.

Offering air-conditioned rooms in the Careggi - Rifredi district of Florence, Rooms by Anna is a 17-minute walk from Fortezza da Basso Convention Center. A gem of a house in a quiet residential area with the kindest of hosts. Spotlessly keen and comfortable. It was handy to use the garden laundry room. Anna’s complimentary fruit basket and cookies and home made soap were a lovely touch. Excellent supermarket nearby and only a few tram stops to the centre. Highly recommended.

Le Tre Orchidee Florence is located in Florence, 1.4 mi from Fortezza da Basso. Attractively set in the Careggi Rifredi district, this guest house features a shared lounge and kitchen. AMAZING place to stay in Florence. The managers (a mother and daughter team) were quick to reply and helpful, the room was very clean and spacious, and the rest of the guesthouse was FANTASTIC (I wasn't expecting a nicely equipped kitchen and a private patio with nicely arranged potted plants, and we ended up sitting in the house to drink our morning coffee each day because it was just so pretty). The guesthouse is very nicely located too, just a 10 to 15 minute ride to the center of town or train station on the tram. The neighborhood it is in is super cool too though, pretty and lots of shops and cafes, but very authentic and almost no tourists. You HAVE to try the incredible cafe/panzerotti restaurant next door "Nene," it was literally the highlight of our entire 3 week trip to Italy. All in all, a perfect place to stay in Florence. Just be aware, the guesthouse doesn't have someone at reception full time, so if you want to drop off your suitcases early before check in, you'll need to message the owners to coordinate that ahead of time.
