The staff service was the best I have experience! Since I arrived, Adam was so attentive that he accompanied me to the parking garage, which was few streets away from the hotel and I did not know the area. Allan and Adrian, and a lady in the counter (sorry, I forgot the name) were always available, gentile, and assisted us at all times. Definitively, we will go to this hotel the next time we visit Barcelona.

Featuring a rootop pool, this boutique hotel is located in Barcelona’s historic center, close to Palau de la Música Concert Hall, the Cathedral and the Ramblas. The staff at the reception desk was unbelievable. They went out of their way to be helpful and really made my stay one of the best experiences I had in a hotel. And I travel a lot!! The location is also excellent and the price very reasonable.

The 19th-century Duquesa de Cardona Hotel 4 Sup by Duquessa Hotel Collection, opposite Barcelona’s marina in the Gothic Quarter, is 1969 feet from the Ramblas and has free Wi-Fi. Good location. Relatively close to cruise port, las ramblas, goth quarters. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The included breakfast was uh-mazing. It included Cava or mimosas with fresh juices, but the Nescafé espresso bar was where we loved getting our caffeine for the day. The service was excellent and the staff were helpful when needed for information. We felt safe and well cared for. Would definitely come back and stay again. Helpful tips for US travelers. You will need a European power adapter type C. You can walk to the Las Ramblas Western Union (about 10 minutes) for good currency rate exchange between Euro and USD. Rooms with extra beds for children are hard to find and this is a great set-up for families.
