The room was very comfortable. The beds were cozy. The owners and staff were all very friendly. The shared kitchen was well equipped, very clean, and I was a big fan of the free coffee. It is in a great location in Hofn, everything within the city is in walking distance. We had a wonderful view of the Northern Lights from Hofn too.

Very quaint and QUIET seaport town. A lot of the restaurants and bars were closed during my stay but was able to go to 1 of them which was lovely. It's a very far east part of Iceland I recommend going to, even if it is for 1 night.

Gem! This was worth the extra drive to visit.
Gem! This was worth the extra drive to visit. Honestly it was my favorite part of Iceland. Rugged beauty without the long line of tourist buses to contend with. Stokksnes Beach is a hidden gem at sunrise!

The Berjaya in Höfn is in a wonderful position with the harbour on one side and a view out across the water to the glaciers and the west on the other. It is also easy walking distance to all the local bars and restaurants.

Hofn is a lovely town in SE Iceland.
Hofn is a lovely town in SE Iceland. It has numerous, easy walking paths thru town and around their waterfront including a golf course with views that I think rival those of the finest courses in the world. Not a golfer, but if I were, this is a place I would want to play. It was spectacular. The views of the glacier were outstanding. There were several good restaurants, lobster is a local specialty. There are nature and art trails along the waterfront and a number of good historical exhibits. Wished we could have spent more time here. It felt like a vibrant, fully functioning community that I would have liked to explore more.

it was one of the most expensive stay on our 12 days trips.
it was one of the most expensive stay on our 12 days trips. The room did not match the pricing.
There were not microwave nor toaster nor any other means to warm up any food. Only one working chair in the room.
It was clean, but not worth the price.

Unlike tourist traps in the USA, Hofn is a marine village built to accommodate itself throughout the seasons. It's a place to relax, take in the fresh air, and chill. Its natural beauty is more than enough.
Good location on the outskirts of Hofn assuming you have a car and easy to find along to main road into town. Good private parking in front of the hotel. The room was quite large and spacious and so was the bathroom. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic continental but was good and staff were very helpful if items ran out. There is one of the automated coffee machines which are quite common in Iceland.
The room was spacious, modern, clean, nice and we had a TV with Netflix in it.
Breakfast was great, had a menu for breakfast (extra things) for no extra charge - avocado toast, muesli and scrambled eggs. Food was delicious
To top it off, the location was great abd the views from the room & restaurant were gorgeous - overlooking the glacier nearby.
Probably our top hotel off of our 3 week stay in Iceland.
This is a great place to stay. Two bedrooms, a great living room and a kitchen that is well stocked. The great thing for a trip to iceland was the washing machine. We were able to do our laundry and be ready to go in the morning... everything dried without need for a dryer. The owner came down to answer any questions and we can't say enough about the great accommodation.
A beautiful and charming cabin on a typical Icelandic farm. Away from tourists yet only minutes drive to Höfn. Owner Ana warmly welcomed us. Comfortable living room and kitchen. Barbecue grill on covered deck. Bunk bed in one room, queen bed in another room. Perfect for a family of four. We only stayed one night. Really wished we could stay longer!
If you are looking for a heartly warmed stay, you should stay at Dynjandi. We slept there during our honeymoon Icelandic trip. It is situated less than 10 minutes from Höfn by car. The host is super kind and at your complete disposal for everything, from drying your wet clothes to funny and useful tips for your journey. Extremely recommended!
We stayed one night at the Milk Factory during our road trip around Iceland. The hotel is located centrally in the town of Hofn. It’s a quick drive to the harbor and the restaurants. The staff was really friendly, warm and welcoming. Most rooms have incredible views of the mountains. The room was decent size and the property was very clean.
One of the best cottages I’ve been to in Iceland.
The place was tidy and cozy.
The staff were friendly and the food was to die for! Poka is an amazing host and cook 👩🍳
if you are going to visit Vestrahorn, Stokkness and Höfn this is your place ! ☺️☺️☺️
the location is good at Hofn. the kitchen is super well equipped and clean and dinning area is good with books of introductioin of Iceland. the shared bathroom is acceptable and clean, good for solo traveler.
This was the finest constructed hotel in Iceland. Just superb work. The bathroom set up and functionality was just great. The restaurant was also one of the finest meals I’ve had in Europe. Really impressed.
The traditional Iceland buffet breakfast was complete and well tended. The room was clean, new and modern. During breakfast, a sheep and two lambs walked up to the window to say hello and posed for pictures.
We had a very pleasant stay at the guesthouse. Everything was clean and the breakfast had a lot of variety and was plentiful. Would definitely recommend to stay here on your trip around Iceland.
Good and comfortable guesthouse. Inga, the proprietor, was very kind and willing to explain a lot of things about Iceland and to recommend good places to visit. I had a great time.
Comfortable rooms with big bathroom (rare in the hotels of Icelandic countryside) in a good location. Not very pricey in comparison with most other hotels in the country.
It's right in the middle of Hofn and nice place to get break during your long Iceland drive. Rooms are cozy and warm. Worth for money. Host was so helpful and friendly.
