We had room 4; one of the suites with a stunning balcony. We had a view of the town below and the hillside above. The room was flooded with light with windows on three sides that afforded us a gorgeous view down the coastline and of Mt Aetna. The room’s amenities were first class and the bed and linens plush. If you wanted breakfast a great choice would be to simply walk to the Hotel Continental next door. There is a short walk downhill to the Catania Gate and to all the stores and eating venues there. This was by far the classiest place we have stayed in all of Italy.

We loved everything!!! Martina is an amazing woman. She gives her heart and soul to this fabulous B&B. Location is perfect! Just outside the busy centre, perched on top of a hill overlooking the sea and Taormina. Wow!!!! What a setting for breakfast!!! Let's talk about Martina's breakfast. OMG!! I was in heaven. First, breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, and she did not disappoint. Fresh, FRESH and delicious.... eggs (cooked perfectly) tomatoes/basil/ cheese, fruit, ham, homemade jams, fresh bread....I can go on, and I will. She made this fresh cake every morning!!!! Her own recipe. Exactly how I love it and she made it with heart. ❤ I was so happy and I think I told her many times. What a start to the day! Parking was simple and easy. Martina will provide you with any information you need. Rooms are spotless, and I mean spotless!!! Those rooms are thoroughly cleaned after each guest leaves. Beds and linens are super comfortable. This wonderful B&B gets perfect marks! Thank you Martina for a wonderful stay. We hope to come back one day....🙏🙏

The view from our balcony faced East and we had a spectacular view of the sunrise. The breakfast was great. Each day there were pastries and fresh fruit. The on-site parking was a bonus. There were lots of outside seating areas as well as our own balcony. Wine and beer were available at great prices from our hosts. The location was about half way between the town of Taormina (up) and the beach (down). Our hosts were very helpful in providing restaurant suggestions and booked a tour of Mt. Etna for us.

The place looked just as good or better than the pictures and our host was such a lovely and helpful person. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the conditions at the accommodation were excellent value for money. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing place with stunning views in a perfect location. Close to the beach and next to the cable cart to get into town very quickly. Salvo and Maria are the bests hosts and are extremely friendly and accomodating. Will definitely be staying here again !

Staying in the beautiful Villa Sara was an exceptional experience, the best of all our overnights in Sicily. Our host Domenico went out of his way to help us both before our trip and while we were there, with suggestions for walking trips and the best way to get to the town centre. The room and bathroom were both large and spotlessly clean, and the best part was the huge terrace/balcony overlooking Mount Etna and the sea. Domenico helped us to arrange a delivery pizza in the evenings so that we could eat there, enjoying a bottle of wine and the view. The breakfasts every day were delicious with plenty of variety, and we especially enjoyed the scrambled eggs. A bonus was having his private garage for our car so that we did not have to leave it on the street.
