The country house has family rooms. We had an absolutely wonderful time at this apartment in the northern part of Madeira – my personal favorite area of the island. It’s perfectly located, with some of the most scenic hikes just a short drive away, and only about 25 minutes from the airport. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the house and garden are lovingly maintained with a lot of care and attention to detail. The atmosphere is peaceful, cozy, and clean, with a truly unique view over the ocean – it felt like staying at a private miradouro. Our host, Sabino, was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants. As a lovely personal touch, he even surprised us with a basket of fresh fruit and some flowers from his garden. If you're planning a trip to Madeira, look no further. Sabino, muito obrigado!

Also, the location and views from our terrace were incredible - high up overlooking the ocean and town below! The home itself was unbelievable - a very clean two-story villa with a full kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, & dishwasher) and washer - and could very comfortably accommodate two couples. We definitely plan to return.
