Agriturismo Villa Guarnaschelli is a 17th-century villa set in the hills around Florence and offers panoramic views from its tower and courtyard. The Villa was only 8 minutes away from a tram station which we could use to reach the city center of Florence. The ganden, the villa and the location are beautiful and the host was really halpful.

Plus points that they have their own wine tasting (their own brand of Nobile di Montepulciano is amazing) and restaurant. But the absolute best thing about Villa Nottola is their staff. Their sincere hospitality and friendliness are what I will most remember.

This 11th century Tuscan farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Florentine hills, amongst private gardens where you can enjoy al fresco dining. All rooms offer air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Excellent rooms and views. Food excellent good choice and knowledgeable staff.

We loved our stay here, would have loved to stay longer. Idyllic, romantic property, great breakfast, lovely hosts. Watched the sunrise over the vines, very special. Really enjoyed a bottle of Rose from their fridge, sitting on our patio enjoying the views and serenity. Very cool restaurant a few hundred meters down the road, highly recommend.

CastelBigozzi is surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, 12 km from San Gimignano. It offers an outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage, and rustic, air-conditioned rooms. Absolutely amazing breakfast, very friendly staff, beautiful views, quiet property just up the hill from town, for Via francigena walkers, a good stop before Monterriggioni, a little more pricey, but well worth it, you will not be disappointed!
