The place had everything that we would need for a relaxing vacation. The hosts, Helene and Bruce were lovely and very helpful. The stunning views from the terrace were the highlight of the property.

Boasting a garden, a year-round outdoor pool and pool views, O'Parad'îles is set in Goyave. The accommodation has a hot tub. Great service and very friendly hosts. Houses are comfortable and everything is present. Our daughters enjoyed the jacuzi! Well located to visit Basse-Terre.

Located in Deshaies, BUNG À ZIOTTE provides accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Bungalow in the middle of the nature. Great sounds of nature in the night, morning visits of colibris,.. Amazing. As a bonus, a very friendly and well behaved orange cat called Papousse might visit. Be kind to her :)

Situated less than 1 km from Plage de Petite Anse, Habitations Amédée offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. I arrived much earlier than expected. Helpful neighbors let me know that I could wait at the local beach. At the time that I had given during my booking as my arrival time, the host was present and warmly greeted me, showed me the accommodation and handed over the key. The property looks a bit rustic on the outside, however, on the inside it was quite up-to-date. Decent wireless internet. A nice mosquito net like a pop-up tent for over the bed. Full sized refrigerator, 4 pit electric stove, oven, coffee maker, cleaning supplies, etc. I stayed in the smaller accommodation, 1 bedroom, and it has a nice covered porch to sit on with a wonderful view of the ocean, especially at sunset. There is an octagonal pool just a step away that also has a great view of the ocean and it makes a great place from which to watch the sun set. The area is quiet and calm. It's not a touristy place and made a great place to just relax and enjoy the views and nature. The beach is a bit of a walk up and down very steep roads. (25% grade?) If you are fit, it's a good workout. There is a restaurant and further a beach bar. The location makes a nice central point from which to explore the west coast of the island. Enough about the property, over my hosts I cannot say enough kind things. They were so warm, caring and welcoming. In my many travels, I rarely meet such wonderful people. Although I do not speak French, we communicated via Google Translate on my phone. That led to some amusement with mis-translations. However we enjoyed a number of conversations. When the power went out one evening, she came along with lights for me. When I needed to see a doctor, she arranged that for me. I felt well cared for - above and beyond, really. I would gladly stay here again if only for the hosts.

Located within less than 1 km of Bain chaud de Bouillante and 1.9 km of Ravine Thomas Bain Chaud, Résidence Pommes Cannelles provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bouillante. The accomodation was spacious and clean with a big terrace to chill and have breakfast in the morning. Whilst we did not use the kitchen much it was well equipped. The hosts are very friendly. There is a bar around the pool within the residence where you can hang, in the evenings you can have drinks there and hang with other fellow travellers as well as the owners to share about your day and get tips from each other. Welcome breakfast supplies provided on arrival are a lovely touch!!

Located 400 metres from Grande Anse Beach, Les Manguiers offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The host Marie was a very friendly person and made us feel right at home, its so close to the best beach in Guadeloupe that you can literally see the beach soon as you step out of this property's gate and look to your west, and a gas station with a little supermarket is right there halfway between you and the beach, plus there is a pizza food truck after 6pm by the gas station and lots of restaurants and food trucks on the beach every day all day, we definitely recommend this place to everyone. Oh you can get here VERY cheaply by exiting the PTP airport (any Monday to Saturday morning) and walking to your right to the back of the vehicle terminal (just ask any airport worker for the Karulkis bus), the AE3 and AE5 buses come once every 15 minutes and take you from PTP to Bergevin bus terminal in the city for only 1.20 Euros each, then you get a white big air-conditioned bus from there to Deshaies (tell the driver you want to go to Grande Anse in Deshaies) and the bus stop in literally at a roundabout at the head of the road to the beach (on your right/west) and the road to the apartment is on your left /east just 100 metres passed the gas station - and this second bus only costs 3.00 Euros each, so you can get there for LESS than 5 Euros (per person) by 2 buses, OR waste 100.00 Euros to get a taxi from PTP there, the choice is yours, but I prefer NOT to waste money and get there in 90 minutes for 5 Euros - rather than spend 100 Euros and get there in 30 minutes.
