Being tucked away with just a couple of horses for neighbours, in a stylish and immaculately clean studio, a stones throw from the heathland was perfect. We were asked about dietary requirements in advance and just hoped we might get some nondairy milk, we got so much more - mushrooms, bread, jam, marmite, plant based butter (not marg), cereal, granola, berries, orange juice, tea and coffee and all good quality (Waitrose). Honestly excellent :)

A recently renovated guest house set in Brockenhurst, Chestnut Cottage New Forest features a garden. It is situated 11 km from Beaulieu and offers bicycle parking. The cottage was lovely and bright, clean and cosy. Excellent location. We parked our car on arrival and didn't touch it until the day we left.
