We felt very relaxed in the jungle house. You can cook easy meals in the outdoor kitchen and enjoy them at the veranda. We had the pool mostly to ourselves. Nadia was very helpful and responsive.

The huge stunning beautifully maintained garden setting makes this boutique villa with only six suites such a memorable stay. In the gardens we saw a two toed sloth and a three toed sloth with a baby attached as well as a variety of birds including toucans as well as colourful frogs- such a treat. The pool without children was a lovely start to our mornings. Breakfast was delicious with multiple options every morning. The staff throughout the villa were gracious, helpful and friendly. We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the jungle walks as well as nearby town and restaurants. Our kind host drove us to a huge supermarket for our supplies as the rooms include a well set up large kitchen. It was easy to catch an uber into town for those who didn’t want the long walk along the beach to get there

We enjoyed our stay at Los Delfines Lodge very much! Miguel and Marta are great hosts. They are extremely helpful, supported us, even washed and dried our cloth and drove us with their car. The house has a beautiful garden and a nice kitchen. We definitely recommend Los Delfines Lodge and would come again.

This place is a gem! It’s quiet, close to but on the outskirts of town right next to the national park. The animals basically come to you in the yard/trees…you can sit in a hammock. I love the design of this place! It’s designed for full outdoor opener experience, but you can close all the sliding doors shut at night. Amazing design. And full outdoor immersion experience but you really feel calm and immersed in nature. Absolutely loved it. And Monica, the host was a delight, and very helpful too :)

She was incredibly kind and welcoming — she even picked us up from the Roots office, which was such a nice gesture and made our arrival super easy. We were lucky to be among the first guests, and everything in the house felt brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. The setup was perfect for our group of 8, as we were able to enjoy both houses while sharing the garden and the patio. The space is ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring Tortuguero, and the attention to detail really made a difference. We recommend this place!
