Simatai No.19 Villa ligger i Miyun, 3,5 km fra Den Kinesiske Mur - Simatai og 8,3 km fra Den Kinesiske Mur - Jinshanling. Der er udsigt til haven og den indre gårdhave. High quality room with excellent English comms. We have just enjoyed 2 nights here during May 2022. Pros are: 1) Excellent communication with Ellie by wechat before and during the trip. She can arrange transport for you to Panlongshan section of the Wall for 100rmb round trip. Any questions you have she will promptly reply. 2) Watertown tickets (2) were included in the room price and the car to go there and pick you up later. Very convenient and saves you money! 3) Delicious breakfast especially French toast, fresh coffee. Fresh baked rolls..We ate breakfast in the adjoining breakfast room which is nicely furnished. 4) Ellie kindly upgraded my room.Comfortable room (four poster bed) with ensuite bath (powerful water tap in bath. Also large separate shower head).. Good quality toiletries. Bathrobes. Aircon /heater in room. Living room - adequate size but be aware that it's a shared living room amongst 3 rooms in the Villa. Luckily we were the only people staying there that weekend so had it to ourselves. 5) Excellent, helpful staff working there - Linan speaks English. 6) Relaxing seating area on the deck outside. A barbecue too but we didn't use it. 7) i put in a special request for a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The lady there, I forgot her name, made a delicious cheesecake. Thank you. Cons No cons. Special notes. We visited during the covid testing period in Beijing and also when dine-in restaurants were prohibited. Please do not let that deter you from visiting because you can easily order takeaway food (staff will help you order it) and eat it in your Villa. Also you can do your 48 hour covid (NAT) test before you leave central Beijing and stay there 1 night and still get back to Beijing central. Hospitality venues like this Villa need tourists to visit so we should try and support them. We got the minibus from Watertown (departs 1200, 1700) to Dongzhimen Beijing cost 48 rmb per person NOTE you pay on the bus.

Yue Tong Farmer House tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition i Huairou, 26 km fra Den Kinesiske Mur - Huanghuacheng, 43 km fra Ming-gravene og 13 km fra Shengquan-templet. Perfect base to go see the Great Wall. I did this on a 144 hour long layover visa and it worked flawlessly. They'll pick you up from the airport, give you free breakfast and cook you a delicious dinner, then charge everything at the end! Such a kind and beautiful family. They even shuttled me to the ticket office and back. Can't recommend enough!

Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Wangshanyuan Homestay ligger i Mutianyu Kinesiske Mur og tilbyder prisvenlig indkvartering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Der tilbydes gratis parkering på selve ejendommen. It was a welcoming place to stay in a beautiful location. We were greeted with smiles and the food was delicious. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Beijing Badaling Great Wall Cao Courtyard Hostel ligger kun 10 minutters gang fra Badaling-muren og 5 minutters gang fra Badaling Station. Great Location, close to the China Great Wall main Entrance. David (our Host) was amazing, he speaks very good English and helped us with whatever we needed there. We enjoyed our Stay there and will stay definately once again with him. Room was clean and very cheap

Flower Yard ligger i landsbyen Mutianyu og har aircondition. Der er også spillehal og restaurant på stedet. Der er gratis WiFi overalt på ejendommen. The location was great, very close to Mutianyu Great Wall, free transportation. They offered breakfast free of charge , the coffee was really good. It has a rooftop, you can admire the surrounding, I am sure it’s very nice in the other seasons. It is also very close to a sky resort. The owner, the staff were all very attentive, great service, very helpful.
