It was beautiful and well appointed and organized. The kitchen had more than everything you’d need and the outside grill was fabulous. Everything was clean and it was super relaxing. The walk to the river was really nice, we saw tons of birds and it was super peaceful.

Located next to Lake Blundsvatn, this guest house is 15 minutes’ drive off Iceland’s Ring Road.

My favorite place on the Ring Road! A cute little cottage with 2 separate bedrooms, a small kitchenette and nice bathroom. The bedroom was dark, and the bed comfortable. There were walking trails out the door, with games and signs about trolls and fairy tales. The grounds had a separate area for the camping huts and lodges, hot tubs, and cooking areas for campers. The restaurant was wonderful, with tables overlooking a falls. There is a ginormous record collection and you could request a favorite.

Super clean, spacious, and comfortable, perfect for a big group or family! Best booking decision of my whole Iceland trip! You can tell the host really put in a lot of heart into making sure her guests feel welcome and comfortable. It was super interesting to learn about the history of this place and the host even gave us a little tour of her farm as we were leaving to see the newborn lamb. It really gave perspective into seeing what life is like in Iceland instead of just being a traveller passing by. Thank you so much, this stay was one of the highlights of our trip!!
