Overall Gulfport is a beautiful place to visit.
Overall Gulfport is a beautiful place to visit. So much to do...rather fishing walking in the very nice parks, lodging on the beach eating or going to the casino. And let's not forget shopping at the Outlet mall. It really is a nice vacation spot. Wild wings is very affordable and has very good food. Texas Roadhouse is a good one as well. Clean room with a comfy bed at a good price. Breakfast was solid and coffee was actually pretty decent. Heater in the room was loud and cycled on multiple times per hour making getting a good night sleep challenging.

Gulfport is wonderful!
Gulfport is wonderful! Area restaurants are great, always someplace to go for good music and seafood! Traffic is easy to work with. Some public transportation for local things. Try to fly into Gulfport/Biloxi instead of New Orleans. Easy drive (85 min.) to NOLA.Natalie - 6.0Scored 6.0

Beach was OK. Water is not good at all. If you get a late start going out at night, you might want to make plans in advance to make sure you can find a place to eat. We were there on Memorial Day. Nothing was going on, there wasn’t any traffic- no people roaming around, nothing!! Activity centers closed at 10pm.Phipps - 10Scored 10
I love Gulfport!
I love Gulfport! The outlets are there, casinos, beach and lots of nice places to eat. There are plenty of things to do for everyone. It is only four hours from where I live so not a bad weekend trip! The outlets have lots of nice shops to shop at. It is really big. The have casinos in town if you are into that. They have endless hotels, restaurants, lovely beach and places to shop. You are not far from New Orleans if you want to go into Florida so all the way around a central area. I was so hard to find at night.
I was so hard to find at night. We saw it from I-10, but for the life of me, we could not figure out how to get to the front of the motel. We tried the Flying J and Wendy's, but I guess we had to work around Wendy's. It was too dark to even be sure of the road and then it had turns that were hard to see.

The fridge was cold and the microwave worked really well. The ladies at the front desk were nice and professional. I really appreciated that there was an elevator on the property. We checked into this hotel at 12:30 AM, and Nichol was so helpful. We were up all during the night, asking for extra blankets, a toothbrush, a shuttle to a 24-hour pharmacy, etc. The entire staff was exceptional throughout our stay, and the rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. They helped turn a really bad situation into a very pleasant one, and we appreciate them so much!
