Fort Bragg has always been one of my favorite coastal towns.
Fort Bragg has always been one of my favorite coastal towns. I have been visiting here since I was a kid. The last few years the downtown has improved with alot of new businesses and there are alot of places to walk, state parks to visit. We also found a Seafood restaurant that is now our favorite in town.

This was our 2nd Christmas spent in Ft.
This was our 2nd Christmas spent in Ft. Bragg - the first being 25 years ago! We had 3 great meals - Dinners at The Wharf & Noyo River Grill and breakfast at Eggheads with its Wizard-of-Oz-themed menu. We visited Glass Beach with gorgeous Pacific views of the wild NoCal coastline, the Glass Beach museum, walked through the quaint and historic olde town Ft. Bragg, and the amazing botanical gardens! (though it was winter and not much color - still a must do!) We of course did go to Mendocino, too.

Unfortunately we did not have good weather and even extended our trip for a day to avoid driving in the storm....On the day we departed the weather was beautiful! With the departure of the lumber and fishing industries, FB is now a tourist community. The scenery is beautiful! The weather is cool and often foggy close to the shore. Our favorite place for breakfast is David's Deli....Many great places for other meals. Be sure to visit the small outdoor restauranta along the Noyo harbor. Visit glass beach and walk the coastal trail. North Coast Brewery isa must visit location.

Fort Bragg is always a treat to my family.
Fort Bragg is always a treat to my family. We love the ocean and the gorgeous coastline . Tide pooling along the coast and visiting McKerricher State park are among our favorite things. The food and restaurants are great. We love D'Aurelios for Italian Dinner and The Laurel Street Deli for Breakfast . For great coffee and a snack our go to is Headlands The Botanical Gardens are a must when we stay. The beautiful and serene walks with basically a living encyclopedia for native plants. New bar called Tall Guy Brewing on Franklin street was very fun and had great live music.

Honestly it's a great place but to costly the prices on hotel change from $69 to $150-$200 Fridays and Saturdays price don't change or discount for long stay its nice if you like to travel and eat sea food it's a great place
This property is unique. It’s a interesting historic property. Our room was large . Beds were okay , slept well. Lots of pillows. Big fluffy towels. Safe neighborhood, close to everything. Becky was welcoming and helped us find our way around town. Our room was comfortable and clean. Lots of stairs so if that bothers you take the first floor room. Breakfast had the best fresh fruit ever, and the coffee was amazing.(That’s a big plus!)
We will go back next time we visit Fort Bragg.
This is super eight hotel and Fort Bragg, California was clean, comfortable and well appointed. It is a basic style hotel, but very comfortable and clean. One thing that I really liked is that the hot water comes on instantly in the shower/tub combo. The desk staff was very nice and friendly and there is plenty of parking. Additionally, this is a very centrally located hotel, so it is easy to go north south or into town.
The hotel is a bit older but it is right on the beach/headlands area. Great views from our porch and room! Great walking path along the coast which
we explored. Clean large room with very comfortable bed! It seemed a bit pricey for Fort Bragg area but the view was worth the extra $$.
great room, love the pet friendliness, breakfast was a little on the mini size, maybe some hart boiled eggs :) there were only carbs available ,no protein, so.
I liked the evening receptionist with a warm and friendly welcome.
beds been really comfy ......... we will come again.:)
Seabird room was recently renovated, quite comfortable. On the second floor, our room had a seaview, over the main road, set back with a cafe in front. Staff was efficient and attentive. In the peak of summer elsewhere, Fort Bragg was much more comfortable.
It had been 20 years since my husband and I had been to Fort Bragg, let alone anywhere on vacation together so Emerald Dolphin was an amazing treat.
We will definitely be back and stay with them again. Well worth the 3.5 hour drive.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each room has a balcony overlooking the ocean and we had gas lit fireplaces in both rooms as well. There was take out breakfast included with our stay. This hotel is a hidden gem in Fort Bragg
I liked the entire room but the balcony was a big plus. it overlooked an inlet pond where we could watch some wildlife. The sun rose on that side also. I also like the entrance to a small lobby (?) before coming our door.
The view from my room was great, the room was very spacious, and the bed was so comfy. Overall I think it's the best place I've stayed in Fort Bragg thus far. I will definitely be back.
