The location of the Ocean Coast is perfect. You can walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. The facility is fine although it is easy to hear other vacationers outside. On Saturday night the motel was fully booked and many people could be heard outside in the wee hours. Hey, when you are on vacation many people want to party. No problem although if you want more peace and quiet you might look elsewhere. There was a nice motel breakfast with good coffee in the morning. We would stay again since it is located close to the beach.

It was very clean and had numerous eating places nearby. There was a park and a basketball court right across the street and it was walking distance to the beach. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Beautiful white sand beaches, not too crowded and the area around the beach isn’t a gaudy tourist trap. No boardwalk filled with crap. Very family oriented and safe. Like the location, not too crowded, traffic is good, lots of places to eat. Road biking and trails are a plus and love the downtown area and thrift and antique stores. Not overly commercial really feels like a residential area, not touristy.

Way bigger than a hotel. Close to almost every thing. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher were welcomed. Felt safe. Some website info did not match. Videos about how to check in were helpful. The no pets policy not enforced. White cat hair on rugs, carpet and/or floor. Inspection notification came a day after the inspection. Facilities fellow and inspector just walked in with no knocking. it has lots of historical information and things to check...
it has lots of historical information and things to check out the museum of natural history that is housed in an old jail thta has recently been redone just a little bit but its still authentic and they have a historian lead tour i think saturdays its worth checking out. if you are a person that likes to sample spirits there is a place called marlin\barrel that does tastings daily everything they provide you is made on site the vodka in particalar is super smooth and nice. for food you have to check out moon river pizza you think you know the best pizza just try theirs. lots of good shopping downtown. I know this will sound strange but there is a Walmart there that is not a super Walmart not a marketplace, but it is the size of a Walmart store when they first opened and it just takes me super far back to see what i grew up with to what i have now if you find this Walmart i highly recommend you go there for a time warp back to the 90's lol if you are into that.AAnonymousUnited States of America
