Nice area, but I am not a beach person so I can't really judge. But lots of people were enjoying the beach and sunbathing. Plenty of chairs and shade. Plenty of food and drink options. Awesome sunsets.

Clean sandy treelined beach with local stalls selling various food and drinks. Sun beds and chairs/loungers available to hire. There are a couple of beach bars at one end but lacks cafes and bars. Not much happening once the sun goes down as local area lacks decent bars and restaurants outside of hotels. Most of Surins nightlife is focused along the busy main road. We had intended to stay 4 nights but left after two.

The beach was not so nice - lots of plastic and junk. The ocean was quite rough the days we were there and even when the weather was better it was not such an inviting beach. Some of the resorts are up a big hill. Outrigger was positioned well to access the shops and the beach. It was a 400 b ride in a Tok Tok to Patong each way.

I think it is the nicest beach in Phuket, Not too crowded, very cozy, good size, great for Snorkelling around the rocks. and bonus inside tip, there is a private beach right around the corner which is not very easily accessible which you can swim to. It’s a nice little apartment in a good location but the cleaning of both the apartment and the public areas needed to be more thorough. Surin beach is fine, lots of little restaurants, crystal sea, clean. Bang Tao beach a short tuk tuk ride away is also beautiful. Surin is great for sunsets.JulieUnited Kingdom

The location is great-- it's near restaurants and local shops, and it's a short walk from a few very nice beaches. The resort is quite new, with clean, modern rooms and comfy beds. On past trips, we've stayed in a few other hotels around Surin, and Mida stands out as one of the best 4/5 star hotels in the area-- we'll definitely book it again next time.Christopher JUnited States

Great pool with several sunbeds and a nice garden. The hotel is 10 min walk to Surin beach, which is splendid. There's a lot of restaurants in the area, from the inexpensive local street food (there's an excellent one in the corner of the hotel street with the main road that goes down to Surin beach) to some fancy ones.

On the positive side it has an incredible beautiful view of the sea and the bay…. Without doubt the most stunning one I had in Phuket. The bed and pillows are excellent. The room has a nice large (30sqm) terrace with access to a private infinity pool for 8 rooms. Reception Personnel are very friendly and efficient, and speak good English.
