The location is ok-not far away from the airport, 7-10min walk from the Mai Khao beach and 30 min walk from the airport view point. A small territory provides an opportunity to relax next to the pool at hot hours. A gym is also available if I'm not mistaken.

It’s so wonderful to have met such a beautiful soul in the heart of Phuket Island. Upon check-in, we already knew that we would be in excellent hands. Oy did a sensational job in arranging all of our accommodations including our hotel stay, hotel to airport transportation and especially our elephant experience. Her level of professionalism far exceeds typical customer care. She treated each and every one of us like her family. She literally made it her mission to guarantee us having the most amazing time in Thailand. I have traveled to many places, and I haven’t yet met a concierge staff that can match Oy’s standards. The only part of the beach that was crowded was the beach near the airport. Otherwise, it was a nice and quiet beach. You can walk a long way on it. It doesn't have white, soft sand but the water was clear and there were no jelly fish.

I have previously stayed at this hotel back in 2019. Although some parts of the exterior are looking a little bit like a lick of paint and a clean up would help, overall I am very impressed with the stay here. Great room, great staff and fantastic pools to enjoy…
The local beach suffers a bit from washed up plastic and wooden waste, but it’s a great place to enjoy nonetheless.

Massive rooms with nice semi private pool and easy access to main pool. Rooms were well appointed wit large beds, great showers and a bathtub with a view (you’ll need to have the blinds closed before getting in though). They even offered bicycles for getting around the resort and local area.

Good beach near by and plane passing by often as they are next to the airport.
Away from main attractions - so need to call taxi every time and they are bit expensive than Bangkok.
Eating in hotel is expensive but just five minutes walk - have few choices and good taste too.
Avoid it if you want to explore Phuket or want to stay nearby with popular attractions as travelling is long and pricy.

It is a very long beach with soft yellow sand and clear warm waters, we decided to walk from our hotel to the main attraction, the low flying planes that take off and land from Phuket airport that boarders the beach. Only problem was that the best pictures occur when planes land from the beach side. There seems to be a daily rotation of when planes either only land or only takeoff from the beach side.
From that location there are many food stalls with great food. The tuk tuks there can then take you back to your hotels from about 40THB
The staff is amazing. My daughter got sick and we have to leave early. They gave us a late check out without asking. They were so gentle and understanding. Taking this chance, I want to thank Lilly from the front desk. She was just great.
The variety of breakfast was impressive. The food served at the restaurants were delicious. Price wise it was both super expensive and worth it.
I have stayed in other Bonvoy hotels but this is something else. I would like to come back!!!
Any review of this hotel needs to start with Gail - she is amazing. So sweet, helpful, and hospitable...anyone would feel welcome and comfortable after meeting her. She was very kind to us and really went out of her way to help us make arrangements for when we were leaving.
The rooms were immaculate - perfectly clean, and very comfortable.
The wifi worked well.
You're just a 5 minute walk from a quiet and clean beach.
Overall, the resort is in the best location in Phuket in our view (Maikhao beach is really tranquil).
We have stayed in the signature villa with private pool and we must admit we loved it. The pool was huge, privacy was ensured in an excellent way and the outdoor bath is super cozy. Anyway, we would rate villa per se as 10/10.

I have been to many hotels in Thailand recently and this was one of my favorites. The swimming pool view is phenomenal. The hotel is brand new so everything is untouched. Very design and modern. I also felt like I had complete privacy in my room. Open bathroom was stylish and amazing. The staff were very helpful and professional. We definitely recommend this resort and will absolutely come back as soon as we can!
that was amazing vacation we have ever had in Phuket. we have opened new Phuket for ourselves. everything was perfect: rooms, facilities, food, staff, weather and climate!!!! such a silence and peace, very well decorated hotel flora and fauna gives you feeling that you live in the middle of jungle. we definitely come back there again.
i booked a two bed room villa with swimming pool ( avani plus mai khao phuket suites ) , the villa with pool is amazing we enjoyed our time in the best resort, a lot of resturant and shops near to you and you can visit by walk ( piza company Mexicans resturant , sweets shop , cafe and 7 elven )
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms big and comfortable. The restaurants were amazing although quite pricy for Thailand.
The kids club was the best! My daughter loved it and was happy to go there for a few hours each day. The staff were all friendly and lovely.

pleasant and quiet place and very close to the beach. hotel offers a beach mat, and towels for a swim. even it’s close to the airport, it’s not make a lot noises for relaxation.
