Joaquin and Ann-Sophie were exceptional hosts and did everything possible (and more) to make us feel welcome. We had a breakfast feast each morning and Ann-Sophie made a special gluten-free option every time which we really appreciated. Their home is in an amazing location looking straight at Castelo de Sesimbra and is very spacious with a lovely garden and swimming pool. The location is perfect for reaching Sesimbra and the beaches (we managed very easily without a car as the taxis were cheap). We had lovely food in Sesimbra, especially the fish and would highly recommend Casa Calibris.

Perfect location. Spectacular view. Very well equipped for a short OR long stay. Antonio is a very welcoming host, quick to respond to questions, and really cares that guests enjoy the visit. Sesimbra is a magical place, especially in the off-season when the beaches are quieter. We loved hiking to the castle and Arrabida park, wandering the town, very good restaurants, and daily beach walks. Street parking is easy.
Highly recommended.
Very quiet and small resort. Ideal for a short relaxing getaway.
My friend described it as a hidden treasure of Portugal.
Plenty of seafood restaurants which were outstanding. If you like to shop this is not the place to go.

A super location, good beaches, the sea front fish restaurants are overpriced, but quality is good , look further back from the seafront for more reasonable pricing. Go see the castle, excellent views, go to Setubal and Cabo Espichel. Wine farms nearby too.

This is an amazing town with clear water beaches. You can find restaurants with great fresh fish. Sometimes it can be a bit windy though. It is close to Lisbon so you can do other things if the weather is under.

Excellent in every aspect. Breakfast and dinner beyond expectation. Frontdesk and other personnel very well trained and sympathetic. Worth spending several days there. Fabio, from the lounge and his young team até happy to prepare your favourite drinks.
Outside and very near there is a small restaurant that is specialized in fish food and shells. Also, worth a visit.

Sesimbra is a sympathetic village by the ocean. It is beautifully situated and has golden yellow beaches Virtually no international mass tourism and I like that. In and around the village many good restaurants and a visit to the castle is definitely worthwhile. If you come by car there are plenty of excursion possibilities.

It is s beautiful place, there is not many international tourists, it's mostly local tourists, the beach is amazing. There is a lot to see both nature wise and museums. It's definitely not a party city, but the people are so friendly and the service is great 🥰
What a lovely place!!! We loved spent time there..beautiful, clean, spacy, fancy living room, fancy kitchen, fancy bathroom, fancy bedroom...and front of Semsimbra main beaches...everything was perfect, apartment was so hype, fashion, very useful...all that things at 50 meters from the beach and close to cafes& restaurants..with nice view from the apartment.
We tried to stay one night more but it was already booked for the rest of the week..totally understand why...hope to come again when jump again to Sesimbra.
Daniel was an exemplary host and very personable. Unfortunately because of unusually wet and windy weather we could not use the patio for the breakfast basket delivered by Daniel every morning. The comfortable room was small but attractively furnished with a very well designed bathroom. The setting was tranquil in a lovely garden. Although we had to drive to restaurants there were a number of options recommended in Sesimbra and surrounding villages.
I loved everything about my stay. The location is perfect. You can see beach from the room. The room was beautiful. Everything was nice and clean and Susana and Miquel were super friendly and helpful. Susana organised everything for me - the dolphins watching, massage, manicure, recomnded me good local places, just everything. My stay could not be more perfect! Obrigada!
I loved the view! Looking at the ocean first thing in the morning and last before I go to sleep, is a mood-maker. The spot is ideal and into walking distance from Sesimbra's center. You can easily reach all the restaurants, mini markets, etc and you walk approx. 25-30' if you want to reach the boats for a nice boat trip around Sesimbra's coastline.
Totally worth it!
Great place in terms of location and it was perfect for the first part of our trip to Portugal. Views were amazing and a great location to see the marina and the beach is literally just over the road. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice each day. Staff were very helpful and always impressed us and should be proud of the service they provided.
It’s located in a incredibly peaceful neighborhood outside of Sesimbra and surrounded by beautiful nature. The common space / living room area is really cozy and the room itself was super comfortable and had everything I needed. The breakfast is really really good and Mario had great recommendations for the region.
It's really an unique and magnificent place. An old house with history that you can literally feel. Also it is very spacious and very well equiped. It is in the very center of Sesimbra so it is very comfy and most importantly: host is a really nice person. thank you for our stay!

Great place, just 2 minutes from the beach. Everything is close by. Very clean, spacious, comfortable. The owner made us a cake and left us a bottle of nice wine to welcome us. One of the best apartments on booking that I've been in. Exceptional!

it was a very comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights after flying in. All of the areas of the hotel are beautiful, the pool, dining areas, the room. The little town of Coimbra was fun to explore.
Room was very nice and very clean. Jade welcomed us very nicely. Area is nice and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Sesimbra. There is plenty parking space at the front.
Host was extremely helpful in making sure we could access the property - even at the very late hour we checked in. Immaculately clean and lovely space.
