Braga is a relatively flat city and we walked to all the main sights. Our apartment was steps away from Casa das Natas and we had breakfast there twice- excellent service and yummy food. Around the corner is Maria Alice which also had friendly servers and a different menu- delicious! We ate twice at a Típica which was unique (no spoilers) and the food was great. We spent one rainy morning walking around Braga Parque which was impressive considering how lively it was and malls near us in the US seem to be dying off. If you want spectacular viewpoints visit: Baloiço de Esporões (need a car), Bom Jesus, and Sameiro.

Braga is really beautiful, the old town is breathing some kind of old wisdom, i have difficulties to put my feelings about it in words, in the parts where i was mostly hanging out i had the idea to be part of an old movie. I was here winter 2023 and it was raining a lot and i think it was part of the peace of mind it gave me. the silence in the streets. Just outside Braga you can find Bom Jesus do Monto and that is really impressive as well, like really really. I didn't went much to restaurants or bars but you can find them plenty.

Very nice town for a two day stay.
Very nice town for a two day stay. I happened to be there on the 1ST of December and joined in the festivities of the Christmas celebration which seemed to involve the whole town.
Braga is very old and historic and it has a lot of charm for its size and I enjoyed finding what felt like secret corners of the town to enjoy.

Braga was full of fascinating history- beautiful buildings, very friendly people. It is convenient for Porto airport, lots of choice for places to eat. I would like to have seen the Roman ruins (which we didn't find..)and museums - not enough time. We took the bus to Guimaraes and enjoyed exploring there too!

Lovely vibe to the city both in the day and the evening.
Lovely vibe to the city both in the day and the evening. Good public transport links that met our needs. Plenty of supermarkets and places to eat. We particularly liked the vegan/vegetarian restaurant 'Hibiscus', who did an amazing 'all you can eat buffet' for €16. I enjoyed the city and mountain views from the top of Pinheiro. The butterflies up there were spectacular (September).
We had Apartment F, and really liked it. The apartment was well-equipped, bright, clean, and comfortable. A lot of thought went into making this a pleasant place (a place to put luggage, a small table near an outlet for charging phones, hooks in the bathroom, nightstands with lamps). Self Check-in was easy. The location was great. We left Braga for a few days and would have stayed here again, but a small apartment like this was not available. The cost of the apartment we stayed in was very good, and we didn’t want to spend more.
Nice Family hotel in the heart of Braga, on Avenida Central. The room had a small refrigerator which was completely silent. Small thing, but if you’re a light sleeper it is a nice touch.
Breakfast was included with our room, and they were happy to provide soy milk as a dairy milk alternative. They also arranged taxi service so we could catch our early train. And even though it was before breakfast when we were leaving, the nice man at the front desk made us really good coffee while we waited for our taxi.
The location was great and we were able to see many of the historic churches and buildings in Braga. It was also close to the Christmas festivities. We loved walking the streets and going into the stores. Everyone in the town was friendly. We were grateful that some of the restaurants were open Christmas day. The hotel was amazing! It was like staying in an old castle. The rooms were big and inviting. We loved staying in Braga!
We needed a hotel near the bus station and Hotel Moon & Sun Braga is within walking distance. The hotel is located in the center of the city but very quiet. The front staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room and bed were very comfortable. Braga is a beautiful city. We were only there for one night but enjoyed wandering around to see the sights. We highly recommend staying at this lovely modern hotel.
The most beautiful room I had stayed at in Portugal, with a charming balcony that opens up to a view of exquisite house facades. I forgo quite a bit of sightseeing just to lay in bed on that perfect spot and looking out the balcony. The hostess is most kind. The room is super clean and comfortable. The location could not be better. Highly recommended.
The hotel is located in the most famous plaсe of Braga, right behind the Basilica bon Jesús. The bells constantly remind of this. Amazing atmosphere of this place. Wonderful garden, well maintained. You can walk here for many hours. The hotel itself is very stylish with good service, breakfast and very friendly staff. very comfortable bed and good shower.
The best hotel I have ever been to! The best breakfasts, decor, modern, nice smell, fresh water to drink every day in every room! Wonderful staff- Renato is the best one- very helpful! I liked the hotel very much, 4 nights was not enough with the place, people and food. If you look for the best hotel in Braga you should try Moon and Sun hotel!
The hotel is a gorgeous old convent with large and quiet rooms. Our room was more of a suite than a room. The breakfast was extensive and excellent. The hotel is right in the main area of Braga and close to all sites of interest. Loved everything about the place!
Great little hotel in the centre of Braga with comfortable rooms and pleasant staff.
A great breakfast was also available. It also had an elevator which was a pleasant change after struggling up stairs with our bags at a number of other properties.
The location of this hostel is AMAZING. You are just steps away from everything in the center of Braga and only a mile from the football stadium. The staff were all very friendly helpful. For the price, this place is hard to beat.
Amazing hotel in a great location. The rooms are nicely designed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was also really friendly, we had no complaints and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to come to Braga.
It was a cozy place with a perfect location and with polite and helpful stuff. Lunch was delicious and for a very reasonable price. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Basic Hotel and would come back when visiting Braga next time.
Absolutely the best hotel room I have stayed in years. Loved the period detail and aesthetic. Location was perfect for my needs. Staff friendly and accommodating. I will stay again whenever I'm in Braga!
The best apartment we stayed in Portugal, big space and lots of storage. Fabulous location, close to everything, though construction noise is something they can’t control.
Location is in the heart of the old town which makes it near all the attractions.
Rooms are of a decent size and loved the decor
of the hotel.Lovely place to stay.
Great hotel for a pleasant stay in Braga. Rooms are big and modern. Flipflops are available for purchase and they provide free hot and cold drinks all day.
Clean, reliable and very fairly costed. Incredibly friendly staff. If I ever come back to Braga this will be the hotel. Not even a question. Tremendous!
