The small city of Coonoor was one of our favorite places. Cool weather. Beautiful town built into the hillsides. Great place to walk.
Excellent place to stay. Our rom had big windows looking south to the hills.
To get there, take a tuk tuk ride or good steep walk up the hill from the main town.
Owner Gerald very knowledgable and helpful. Gave us a lift to the bus when we left.
The shower had a curtain you could pull, to keep the rest of the bathroom floor from getting wet. An amazing innovation compared to most of our other rooms in India.
Highly recommend a tuk tuk tour of beautiful winding roads through the nearby countryside, including Dolphins Nose.

Only 2-3 place to see, very nice restaurants where you get south and north indian dishes esp Coonoor Junction was superb. Better to take your own Car to move around. Not to venture out at night time since there are no street lights.

The scenery around the location , room rent, room size and food are the main reasons we revisited the property the second time.
The approach road to this property can be tricky for some - if you can ignore this , I recommend all to go for it. if you're looking to spend quiet tranquil time, with a tea estate view. and great food.

Coonoor is an ideal place for an weekend trip from Coimbatore. Not much for sigh seeing, its more suitable for idle and relaxed weekend. Choose some good resort and chill.
Try toy train for either coming to going out of Coonoor. It's worth it.
Go for Ooty, after Coonoor if you have longer vacation.
The location and the views from the rooms were awesome. We had a room with a balcony and it was very spacious, very hygienic and well maintained. All the staff were extremely hospitable and made us feel at home and welcomed. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable by arranging few of our request. The food was very fresh and appetizing. Breakfast Buffet is the best and balanced. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the hotel. Felt at home
Great location, rolling green hills, easy access to most of the spots, at the same time secluded enough to have no disturbances. Food was great, the staff were extra helpful in giving us what we wanted. One area of improvement - On booking cabs through Teanest, they have to ensure that there is visibility as to the time of arrival etc. Giving the contact of the driver can be a good option.
Beautiful location surrounded by tea garden and tucked away in a corner away from dins and bustles of city. One can take a scenic forrest walk down the road to the waterfall.
The owner Alok was a very nice guy. He personally attended to all our needs.
Large room with 24 hours hot water.
Lastly you may get decent tasty dinner at the hotel if you ask for it early in the day.
It was our last minute booking. Owner of the cottage ensured that we had a pleasant stay
Good location if you want to stay 1-2 kms away from the city, quiet place, and beautiful view of mountain and night sky with fireplace.

The privacy of the villa is good and its very scenic & calming. Vikash food service provides great home cooked meal and the
best barbeque. Very friendly also. The caretaker was good too and helpful. Since there are no resturants/ cafes around they have a full fleged working kitchen with all the basic amenities.

Rooms are spacious. But hotel size or kids play area is small.
.Excellent location in Coonoor and superbly hospitable host / care taker , comfortable stay in a Pvt bungalow. Exquiste manicured colorful gardens and lawns. the view makes you fell you are in the middle of the jungle
The location is lovely, in the tranquil hills just out of Coonoor. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food tasty.
