In february its calm, and not to many people.... If you would like moor to look or roundabaut, better to take a taxi, or a car. Dont like to foot , in the near , You can visit Keszthely , or The Balaton-see...... THe food as well, and we hve in Hotel any possibility.... I, and my hospand are olderly guest, we cant not well to foot.....
We have visitet the ruin from romers, Churchs and museum Heviz....
make a littly trip to Balaton....
I think to have a car wood be better....

Relatively quiet town (I visited in mid-January) with lots of green areas. From all the languages I speak (EN, DE, SI, HR, FR, RU) in the end Russian and German were the most usefull when interacting with the shopkeepers and waiters.
The lake / spa is really quite unique- there are not many places where you can freely swim around a lake in the middle of winter (-4C outside T). Fair warning though- the thermal water has a quite pungent scent 🙂.

It is a great place, lake is a fantastic experience. Even during winter the temperature was 22-23 degree, although it was disappointing that there is no real wellness/spa around the lake. To have that experience you have to stay in a hotel. You have to pay for the parking everywhere.
I visited the hotel with my daughter during our trip to Hungary and we were charmed by both the town and the hotel. We enjoyed a spacious room, large and comfortable beds, a terrace with wonderful sunsets and incredibly delicious food. The spa has everything you need for relaxing, and the outdoor aquatonic (adventure) pool was our favorite, especially in the evening when the multi-colored lights in the water and the steam make it a magical and romantic place.
Fantastic location, couldn’t be better, right in the centre, there was even a weekend market outside the hotel and less than 5 mins walk to the thermal lake. Great that it’s adults only too. Hotel is really nice with great spa and sauna facilities. Breakfast and dinner is nice too although breakfast could be replenished a bit more towards the end of service (nothing was replenished from around 9.30am so was a bit sad if arriving at this time for breakfast).
The best expierence was the meeting with waiter Zoltan Horvath in the restaiurant. He have changed all our impression about staying in the hotel, about Heviz and about all Hungary. Very kind young men who really cares about visitors from other countries! Nice talk, kind service, professional recomendations and sincere communication. That's it what we really needed staying first time in Hungary.

Excellent and spacious apartment, very friendly and supportive host, nice terrace. Wish I would stay longer. Very nice jacuzzi included in the price. Apartment was very silent. Location is uphill from Heviz centrer, but walking is very healthy, so this I consider as advantage. Apartment is in the walking distance from Termal Lake Heviz. Strongly recommend this apartment.
Rita was a very welcoming host; property is very spacious, kitchen is well equipped, there are several balconies and sleeping rooms are isolated. Rita told us about main attractions in Heviz, there is possible to borrow "swimming nudel" if you want to swim in lake Heviz. Really my recommendations to this place!
it was very comfortable and absolutely clean. The location is perfect in the center of Heviz near the thermal lake. The access to the spa area in the neighbouring hotel is easy. Parking was in front of the apartment. The host was extremely kind. All in all, we had a very pleasent time.
The hotel is wonderful. We had a lovely stay. The rooms are spacious, clean. The food was excellent, a lot of varieties to choose from, the stuff was very nice and helpful. Heviz is a very nice place and I recommend it. I have nothing to complain about. Absolutely wonderful.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good as well. The location of the hotel is great, it is right in the city centre, really close to the lake of Hévíz and to several different restaurants, so it is possible to reach everything on foot.
Everything was really good, the flat was spacious with all the equipment needed.
The owners are kind people and the location is nice, very close to the main attractions of Héviz, but away enough from the crowd.
Private parking is also a big plus.
This was our 3rd time staying in the hotel, and it has always been delightful stay. The hotel staff is very friendly, and they go out of their way to accommodate their guests. Breakfast is alway delicious, the rooms are nice and spa is fantactic.
We really enjoyed the stay, especially the wellness center in the hotel. The location of the hotel was in an excellent part of the town, super close to the Hevizi lake. The breakfast was also good, everything was fresh and there was variety.
Spacious, clean good, equipped apartment in quiet neighborhood, near wine region of Heviz. Location is a good starting point for sightseeing city and lake Balaton. For all that like walking it is in perfect position to enjoy it.
Be aware that it is a privately owned apartment in a hotel complex. We had access to the spa and a discount for the hotel restaurant and services.
The main difference is we did not have towels used in the spa.
