vasilikos is a quiet part of the island, hotels/apartments are smaller, simple. no party zone there. nice, sandy beach, with small stones at the water border, so bathing shoes are helpful. you can book trips from the hotel, public bus system during the day hourely. zykynthos town and port are nice to visit, also small villages in the inner of the island. famous: shipwreck bay

Aragassi (where the bars are open at night) and the capital are not far away and you can get there by bus or taxi.

Vasilkos is laid back island life at its finest.
Vasilkos is laid back island life at its finest. It's easy to take the bus into the main area of the island if you crave the hustle and bustle, but being steps from the beach and the soft ocean breeze in the night made the experience unforgettable.

A great location to explore the rest of the island, you will need transport to get about because the public transport is a bit hit and miss. Xirokastello has some fine restaurants (Agnadi and the Windmill to name but 2) so does Argassi (Zinc) did not visit Vasilikos but drove through it and it looks nice.

Ms. Rula is a very kind host.
Ms. Rula is a very kind host. Always smiling, hard working in the morning making sure everything is in place whether she'd be doing laundry or sweeping the leaves. She is very attentive of her clients and takes extra care of them like offering baked homemade goods in the morning wich were delicious.

The location was away from the busier areas like Zante Town and Argassi, but still accessible in 10 mins.
There is a family run Taverna Agnas (I think) near the Florida Taverna, great food and set on the top of the hill it gas amazing views!
It is spacious and accommodated two families easily. The swimming pool is lovely. We used the charcoal BBQ often. The views were great and the higher position brought cooling breezes both times we visited this villa. The bedrooms and lounge have air conditioning. Housekeeping came twice a week which was an unexpected bonus. The villa owner is very friendly and helpful, responding to any messages promptly during the holiday. Great place to stay for accessing all the beautiful Vasilikos beaches (car necessary).
the place was amazing it looks even better in person! for the price it just great. don’t rent cars from the airport or other places you can rent the cars here for only 30’ euro a day which was great, also they have a French bulldog named Martin that was the best thing. vasilikos is great if you wanna get away from the crowd there are amazing restaurant by food and a supermarket and the bus stop is at the corner. the staff was amazing very helpful in everything I asked and super friendly.
Our stay at the Villa was just wonderful. The host was really warm and friendly, and gave us a lot of information about the island and the best places to visit. The room was very clean and confortable. There were a lot of really nice taverns around to chose from, Gerakas beach was close, and also Argassi and Zante town. We were very happy with our choice of booking a room here!
P.S. Don't miss going for dinner and seeing the sunset at the Cross tavern, the view is breathtaking!

Wonderful place with a great location. It is a peaceful and green area, nearby the sea (st. nicholas beach, which is really nice). Our room was clean and inside there were everything, what we needed. The host was very kind, friendly and helpful. She recommended us a few places to visit on Zakynthos as well. Special thanks to Svetlana, which is really wonderful person. Next time, ,when we'll be in Vasilikos , we'll come back there with great pleasure!
The photos don't do this place justice. It absolutely incredible!!! One of the best holiday views we ever had. The staff are friendly(daily housekeeping included) & everything at the restaurant is delicious. The beach is amazing to (think to pack some beach shoes or flip flops). The room is a well put together hotel room with a spacious bathroom, nespresso machine, small fridge, TV (that you won't need) & an AC. We loved everything and can't wait to go back.
The hotel is very comfortable and modern and the owner is a very respectful person and always ready to help. The private pool is excellent and our room was kept very clean. The room service staff and even the bartenders and waiters are very friendly and respectful. The restaurants are very close to the hotel and the beaches are truly stunning, so you don't need a car or bus.
I highly recommend you to book this hotel and enjoy your stay in Vasilikos.
The location is great. Right by the beach. Very relaxing area with beautiful views. From here you can also walk on the beach to other beaches nearby. There is also a good amount of beach restaurants around. The facilities are very basic, but it didn't matter to me. I had everything that I needed. The staff is very nice and the room was cleaned every day. It's great for a longer stay if you don't want to spend a lot on a hotel and just enjoy the island.
Very good cleaning every day plus change of towels every 2nd day! Great location with your private beach and free sun beds. Sea is very good there and hotel takes care of the shore and cleans it always. All rooms have a view to the sea. We’ve got a room on ground floor, but so maybe from upper ones it’s better. Friendly and helpful stuff :) also super fresh air (comparing to dusty busy capital city)
The hotel is located at a hillside offering an amazing sea view. It offers high quality food either for breakfast or dinner. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the outdoor areas are well maintained. The staff is very friendly and they are willing to help you, sharing a lot of information about places, beaches and restaurants to visit (according to your needs).
Giotta from Vasilikos Garden is very friendly and she made us feel like home there. The apartment was very clean, we had clean towels and sheets every day. The terrace was amazing, we woke up every morning to a beautiful sea view. The food at the restaurant is very tasty, all the main ingredients are from their own farm. Overall, we've had a wonderful time :)
Staying at this hotel for me was one of my best experiences by far. The lovely couple that owns the property are the sweetest people to ever walk this planet. They were so accommodating and helpful. Even better, I couldn’t of asked for a better location or view of a sunset to watch from your back porch. If you come to zakynthos you HAVE to stay here.
The accomodation is just next to the road. Perfect if you travel around the island with a vehicle. Near it you can find very good beaches and nice taverns. For evening dinners and drinks everything is close: Zante, Laganas and Argassi are 10_15 min drive. The studios are good for the values.

Great swimming pool, great room facilities, great plan of building - there is a possibility to feel some privacy in the hotel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is located with it's own private beach, but you needed to be up with the sun to secure the beds by the pool or the beach as there wasn't enough for everyone.
The hotel is very nicely located, just a 5 minute walk from my favorite beach in Zakynthos (St. Nicholas Beach), and the owners are very friendly and helpful.
