Sami gave me what I wanted, small, quiet resort but with plenty of restaurants, cafes and a few shops/ bakeries. Fatto a Mano has the best spanikopita!
Scenery was beautiful, harbour very pretty. The beach is narrow but water is very clean and great for a swim (no facilities on beach)

Good middle base for visiting all parts of Kefalonia, right near Melisanni and Drogarati caves. Sami centre has lots of nice restaurants. Adonis was our favourite. Great beach Antisamos is nearby. Myrtos beach about 25 mins away in car. Showers on beach a nice touch. Pretty private coves, good snorkelling, clear turquoise waters. Lots of friendly cats 🐱

Sami is the main ferry port so is ideal for access to other islands. There is no beach only a narrow stretch of shingle
There are numerous Tavernas along the harbour edge which are very pleasant and enable watching of the boats.

Sami is a great place to stay. Lots of great cafes and restaurants by the harbour. Lovely views. Good beaches and lots to explore nearby if you have a car.
The hotel was great, very helpful host, comfortable room with great views, parking, near the harbour and ferry port.

Lassi, Skala then Sami, to have a base to to explore Kefalonia easier.
Which we feel worked out perfectly.
Sami was great, we hired a Boat from 'Compass Renta boat' on two occasions - very nice people - would 100% recommend them.
Used the boat to visit Ithaki.

Sami was a perfect base for North if the Island . Alancia Suites are perfect . Plenty of places to eat and drink . Supermarkets were good .

The location of the room is really convenient near to Sami's port. Sami is at the heart of the island so I recommend it to anyone who wants t explore the whole island. The room is renovated and redecorated and the bed and pillows are amazingly comfortable. The room is on the first floor of a family residence so the hosts also live downstairs. This makes the place ideal for anyone who wants to learn about greek hospitality and live with locals but it can make the experience unpleasant to anyone who wants privacy and personal space.
The owners and staff at the Sami Beach Hotel could not have done more to make us feel welcome and for our stay to be as enjoyable as possible. This was our first visit,but many couples had been coming for many years, which speaks for itself.
The hotel itself does not have a restaurant open in the evenings, but there are plenty of local tavernas within walking distance. There was a good selection of home produced food for breakfast. The outside bar is the main focal point of the hotel, which has a stunning outlook.
This is a superb property with genuinely nothing to dislike. The bedrooms are well furnished with excellent comfortable mattresses, pillows and duvets. The bathrooms are both great with powerful showers.
Location is superb, walking distance to restaurants and cafes as well as bakeries and supermarkets.
Sami is also perfect as a base to head to Assos, Fiskardo, Antisamos and easy parking near the villa.
Would definitely recommend, and want to go back!
The studio is located in a house in the middle of a beautiful garden, so you feel like you are in a small oasis. High ceilings and pleasant colors make the studio larger than its square footage. The large balcony is very suitable for eating meals, and there are benches and tables for resting in the garden. The nearest beach is 10 minutes away and it is possible to walk to the center of Sami along the coast.
This is very good accommodation just slightly above and behind the lovely town of Sami. The views are spectacular and the location is perfect, just a 10 mine stroll from the sea front with bars and tavernas. Supermarkets are even closer. My apartment had a large comfortable double bed, good shower, excellent aircon and fast wifi and was in very good order throughout. There’s plenty of parking on site.
The renovates rooms are nice with a nice view towards the sea. Hotel staff is friendly. The location is slightly outside of Sami, walking to Sami is ok and Taxis are comparatively cheap. Sami is a very good place for visiting Kefalonia. The pool is nice and pool bar staff is friendly.
Excellent quite location with close proximity to the beach and Sami town. Having the pool was lovely and despite use by 3 families there are loads of sunbeds etc. The BBQ area is lovely. The beach is 10 mins walk and Sami town circa 1km. The only noise are the bells of the goats
The property is located a short walk from Sami harbour which is a beautiful location. The property is clean and the proprietors are friendly and accomodating. There is great air on and is comfortable for a family of 6. It is a great place from which you can explore the island.
The location was peaceful and rustic in the farmland inland from Sami and the coast.A pleasant 20 minute walk past farms to get to seafront shops and restaurants.Room clean and comfy and pleasant pool to relax by and swim during the intense heat of the afternoon.
The appartment is centrally located near a supermarket, bakkery and close to the city center. Eleni responded quickly to questions and was very helpful. The appartment was very clean and modern. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Sami.
The staff is excellent, very polite and attentive. The drinks at the pool bar are also delicious.
Good location: Although Sami itself is not amazing, it's a great point to have as a base to explore the other gorgeous spots of the island.
