Staff were lovely and so helpful when wanting to book boat trips, taxis, quad hire etc. Our room got upgraded on check in which was great. The views were amazing, breakfast had many different options and always tasted fresh. Room was cleaned and fresh towels and bedding provided daily.

The breakfast was very substantial and suited all palates… cooked English type breakfast with eggs in all ways, bacon, mushrooms, sausage, roasted peppers… plus big continental spread of meats, cheese, breads, cakes etc plus the best Greek yogurt I have ever tasted. Just wonderful.
Our 6ft (super king) bed was amazingly comfortable with a memory foam topper and crisp white sheets. Lovely to get into.
Hellen Studios is a complex of 8 newly built, fully-furnished studios. It is located 55 yards from the beach of Megali Ammos and an less than a 10-minute walk from the center of Skiathos.
Surrounded by a lush garden with BBQ facilities and a children’s playground, the family-run Azalea Studios is located right above Ftelia Beach in Skiathos.

The hotel location is not ideal for a person unable to walk uphill and lots of steps - the bus service from the main road is frequent about every 15 minutes into town or to other beach areas along the coast

It was quite a natural beach with not too many sunbeds and parasols. Much quieter down one end with a small beach bar and busier the other end with a good selection of bars and restaurants, It had a nice view.

Megali Ammos is just beyond Skiathos town and is where the...
Megali Ammos is just beyond Skiathos town and is where the beach starts. This means that the beach is very close and so is the town - it is really easy to walk into town in the evening, choose a bar, restaurant or wander round and explore, and then get back to the hotel easily. Then there is a nearby bus stop to catch a bus to take you along the road to all the other beaches on Skiathos. In my opinion, Megali Ammos is the best place to stay. But Aghia Paraskevi is the best beach!

Try the beach side restaurants for breakfast, as well as evening meals. Bus into Skiathos town (only €1.60 pp) and hundreds of restaurants to choose from. Do the Mama Mia trip - great fun. Al.so the open air cinema in Skiathos town - got to see Mama Mia - really worth while.
Use the little water taxis to take you to other beach on the island - a great way to see the coastline- and really cheap.
Go watch the planes land and take off - but take care, it can be dangerous if you stand too close.

Quiet "neighborhood" with some restaurants and cafe. 10' from the centre and 10' minutes from Vromolimnos, Koukounaries and the rest of the famous beaches of the island (we were using a bike). Megali ammos as a beach was ok but not the best compared to the others. We had dinner at Polykratis and the food was tasty.

Bus to beaches are excellent, we liked Troulos beach, also number 8 is very nice you get off bus and walk through Kassandra Bay hotel, once we left the beach we had a glass of wine there before getting the bus.
Skiathos town has so many restaurants spoilt for choice, we liked Hellinikon a lovely fish restaurant with live greek music.
If you like jewellery The Blue House art gallery on the front port is lovely.
Staff were very friendly, and Eleni was amazing!! Thank you for your great service Eleni, we loved meeting you!
The location was fantastic, on the beach and close to the main town, as well as some nice restaurants very close by. Hotel rooms are nice and big and the bathroom also big.
There is a shower where you can get ready if you are catching a later flight. But it would be nice if there was someone who could clean it regularly.
Very good accommodation conditions. Equipped kitchenette. Superb sea view from the room. Ftelia beach is in front of the building, just cross the road. Short driving distances from other beaches. Parking without problems in the yard. Friendly and helpful staff. Check in and out very fast. A place where we will definitely return for our next holiday in Skiathos. (18-23.06.2021)
The hotel is conveniently located in Megali Ammos (not exactly on the beach, 2 min walk). Not as luxurious as the pictures show. The breakfast (not your typical one) contains lots of things e.g. bakery goodies, that arrive from the hotel's "sister" hotels (Philian hotels group). Big plus that you can visit these hotels' swimming pool areas for free, during your stay there.
We enjoyed a lot our stay and a warm recommendation to choose this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable as on the pictures and the location was perfect. Even tough it’s on the mountains, you can easily go by foot to the beach or to Skiathos city. Really kind personal, who did everything to have a comfortable stay and special thanks to Eleni and Vivi.
Great location - can walk into Skiathos town for shopping and restaurants and then escape up the hill to the tranquility of the appartments. Loved Nicolas Pool Bar next door and preferred to go there rather than the busy beach. Stavros is a great host and collects from the airport. Handy supermarket at the bottom of the lane too.
We stayed here on our last night in Skiathos. It’s a bit further away from the main town (~15 min walk) but just above the beach of Megali Ammos. The room was very spacious, clean and well furnished (including a small kitchen). The restaurant of the place is very good (although more expensive than other options in skiathos town).
From the first minute to the last, Nikos,his family and superb staff again made us feel welcome and completely relaxed. The hotel has everything we needed, from the room, through the beautiful garden and beach bar to the sea.
Truly a wonderful place to take a holiday.

Fabulous location. No need for a car
Short walk 5 - 10 mins into heart of Skiathos Town. Beach is at the end of the garden.
Property had everything I could need - I didn't have to buy washing up liquid or loo roll- yah!

Location was amazing, 2 mins to the beach, supermarket and tavernas along the beachfront. 20 mins walk into town or a bus stop 3 mins walk.
