Staff were lovely and so helpful when wanting to book boat trips, taxis, quad hire etc. Our room got upgraded on check in which was great. The views were amazing, breakfast had many different options and always tasted fresh. Room was cleaned and fresh towels and bedding provided daily.

The breakfast was very substantial and suited all palates… cooked English type breakfast with eggs in all ways, bacon, mushrooms, sausage, roasted peppers… plus big continental spread of meats, cheese, breads, cakes etc plus the best Greek yogurt I have ever tasted. Just wonderful.
Our 6ft (super king) bed was amazingly comfortable with a memory foam topper and crisp white sheets. Lovely to get into.

It was quite a natural beach with not too many sunbeds and parasols. Much quieter down one end with a small beach bar and busier the other end with a good selection of bars and restaurants, It had a nice view.

Megali Ammos is just beyond Skiathos town and is where the...
Megali Ammos is just beyond Skiathos town and is where the beach starts. This means that the beach is very close and so is the town - it is really easy to walk into town in the evening, choose a bar, restaurant or wander round and explore, and then get back to the hotel easily. Then there is a nearby bus stop to catch a bus to take you along the road to all the other beaches on Skiathos. In my opinion, Megali Ammos is the best place to stay. But Aghia Paraskevi is the best beach!

Try the beach side restaurants for breakfast, as well as evening meals. Bus into Skiathos town (only €1.60 pp) and hundreds of restaurants to choose from. Do the Mama Mia trip - great fun. Al.so the open air cinema in Skiathos town - got to see Mama Mia - really worth while.
Use the little water taxis to take you to other beach on the island - a great way to see the coastline- and really cheap.
Go watch the planes land and take off - but take care, it can be dangerous if you stand too close.

Quiet "neighborhood" with some restaurants and cafe. 10' from the centre and 10' minutes from Vromolimnos, Koukounaries and the rest of the famous beaches of the island (we were using a bike). Megali ammos as a beach was ok but not the best compared to the others. We had dinner at Polykratis and the food was tasty.

Bus to beaches are excellent, we liked Troulos beach, also number 8 is very nice you get off bus and walk through Kassandra Bay hotel, once we left the beach we had a glass of wine there before getting the bus.
Skiathos town has so many restaurants spoilt for choice, we liked Hellinikon a lovely fish restaurant with live greek music.
If you like jewellery The Blue House art gallery on the front port is lovely.
The location is great for walking into the city, but also close to the beach. There are a few supermarkets in walking distance.
The room is spacious, and it was cleaned daily. There is a fridge in the room and toiletries in the bathroom. It had all we needed for holiday (including air conditioning).
The breakfast was a bonus we have enjoyed very much.
The host, Mrs. Penelope, was very nice and always ready to help us with anything. She also gave us good advice related to activities and beaches on the island.

Excellent room decoration and design. Spacious room with fridge. Welcome drink (good quality wine). Very good quality wifi. Elevator from street level to hotel facilities (no need to climb stairs). Location, excellent sea view. Easy access to nearby bus stop. Or, one can easily walk (25 mins) to Skiathos town center and port area. Pool area with maginificent sea view. Very good quality and tasty dinner in restaurant.
This hotel was amazing. Great staff who were always willing to help with anything. The hotel room is big and beautiful and the hot tub is great. I will definitely be coming again. The breakfast selection was also great. Also the restaurants had amazing food. There is also a beach and small supermarket close by. The walk to the centre is only 15 minutes.
A lovely place, right across from the beach. The most helpful and friendly hosts you could ever hope to find. Ten out of ten!!! Nina is a born hostess, offered us a very special taste on car rental, and sent a drive to fetch us from airport as well. Thierry was super friendly and fetched us a few times. Altogether a perfect stay on Skiathos!
The best aspect is the location: a 10-minute walk to Skiathos town and about 30 seconds to the beach. The view from the balcony is great. The studio was quite simple, but functional and I think this is a top value option. The staff are friendly and provided an iron when we asked for it.
This is a beautiful place to stay! The hosts, Stavros & Vasiliki are so gracious. Everything was clean & a great location - walking distance to restaurants or the beach. Beautiful view as well. We'll be back again & again! Between bus stops 4 & 5 if you want to get around further.
Beautiful hotel. Staff was very kind and friendly. Everything in the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast included is excellent. Rooms have great access to the restaurant and the beach. Megali Ammos beach is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and swimming.
The apartment was walking distance from the Skiathos town & beaches. It was also close to a bus stop that takes you all along the south of the island.
