The staff at kochilas was friendly and accommodating! The rooms are quaint and small but it's no problem because if you're booking a room near elafonisi beach, you probably will spend all of your time at the beach! I'd also recommend visiting white lake too.

Great location! Perfect for exploring Elafonisi beach. Small but we only stayed one night so perfect for us. The host was super helpful with our schedule… checking/checking out.
Elafonisi is the most overrated beach in Crete.
Super crowded. The sand is not pink. It's a normal sand. The beach resorts are expensive, usually they are full and the chairs are attached. On top of that, you need to walk 20 minutes to reach the sea.

Breathtaking natural lagoon which everyone is coming to enjoy. Get here before the buses arrive at 10 am or come after 4pm when buses leave otherwise I think it is too crowded. Consider staying overnight at Lafo Rooms.

Elafonisi Beach, with its unique pink sand, is undeniably stunning. However, during the day it can become extremely crowded, making it challenging to find sunbeds. Nevertheless, as the day transitions into evening, the beach becomes quiet, serene, and free from crowds, allowing you to fully appreciate its true beauty, especially during the magical moments just before sunset.

What a ZOO!!!
What a ZOO!!! It’s mid October and the place is still super crowded. Cannot even begin to imagine the crowds in July or August.
Crowds aside… it is an amazing place… beautiful, clear water.. great for young families. One can find a bit of privacy across the water on the spot.

A truly beautiful beach, the nicest I have visited in Crete...
A truly beautiful beach, the nicest I have visited in Crete so far. It is also a very valuable and protected natural site. The beach offers a very varied environment. There is classic seating on the shore under umbrellas and bars. Towards the sea you can enjoy the shallow beach and the sea waves. On the other side there is a quiet shallow lagoon with several islets and a sand spit connecting the coast with the island of Elafonisi. The lagoon is just a paddle away. If you go further, the other side of the island is again washed by the sea and there is also quite a nice snorkeling environment. Because of the size and ruggedness of the place, you can easily find a space for yourself. But there are a lot of people. There is little shade on the spot, so the more experienced ones will occupy the better spots first thing in the morning. It's good to have something to protect you from the sun. You have to go back to the beginning for drinks and toilets, so count on that. Plenty of space to park on site, just the last stretch is not a groomed road so watch your tyres.
The host is really kind - we were able to check-in earlier, he also recommended us great places to eat and to visit, apart from the most popular things. He also gave us a sun umbrella to use during our stay. The place is cozy, with a big veranda and just a few kilometers from Elafonisi beach. It's close to an amazing taverna with great food and awesome service. We also had access to a shop with tasty coffee and fresh orange juice. We had a parking spot.
The house had everything! Equipped very well, there where a lot of beach/pool toys for kids. There were complimentary fruits, water, juice, breakfast stuff waiting for us. Rooms great! Pool amazing! We booked the place cause of its proximity to elafonisi beach, but ended up going once there :) one of best accommodation we had. Would definitely book again there!
The Apartment was very clean, spacious and modern. The host welcomed us with a homemade dessert and nice amenities inside the room. The attention to detail and the genuine hospitality was exceptional. There is not much around in this area but we felt that the location was perfect close to Elafonisi beach. Thank you for a great stay.
We loved our stay here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with excellent outdoor areas. The views from the room are beautiful. We loved the area, a few nice tavernas near by and some lovely little walks around. Elafonisi beach is just 5 mins down the road. Drive down early to beat the buses!
Location is great to visit Elafonisi and Kedrodasos beaches, just a few minutes drive to get to them. Restaurant is great, with an amazing fish soup and friendly staff. Also, one can see a great sunset everyday, from the restaurant floor. Very clean rooms and spacious free parking.
Beautiful location right in front of the Elafonisi Beach. The rooms aren’t that big, but that wasn’t necessary during our 1-night stay at the hotel. They’re clean, modern and the bed is very comfortable. Also the restaurant is actually the best place to have dinner around Elafonisi!
Couldn’t have found a better place to stay close to the marvel that is Elafonisi. The house had all the comforts and we were treated like v. i.p.’s (Crete has the nicest people!)

Good location. Close to Elafonissi beach. Good for a family of 5 (2 adults/3 older teens). Nice that they provided fruit and water and cookies when we arrived. Parking available in front. You can’t see the sea from there but it’s a short drive to Elafonissi.
It was very clean and all newly renovated.. Check in at the Mini market was friendly and handy for buying a picnic for the beach. The location was good for walking to the beach and the parking was excellent . The price Mae it very attractive.
We liked the location - very closed to the beach. The room/bathroom looked to be new - AC working very well. The view from the garden is amazing, full of fruits and flowers and an outdoor shower.
The hotel makes it very easy to stay as you don’t have to go anywhere, everything you need/want is already there. EXCELLENT Location, restaurant was superb and beach was best I’ve ever been to.
Location is awesome, you can be at the beach before anyone else so that is great! There are 3-4 restaurants and one of them is right next to the rooms, so it's very convenient.
