Very kind staff, whole family very friendly and helpful, we had to stay two more nights and they immediately gave us a room, better than the first one we had. I would recommend it, but for the upstairs rooms, the downstairs rooms need improvement! The location of the hotel, I believe is in a good area of the island.

From check in to check out, the Hotel Contessina was amazing. Polite and accommodating staff were everywhere, including the cleaning folks, bartenders, pool staff, check in desk, and servers. Everyone went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.
The rooms were spacious and the AC went to a cool level, which we loved after those hot days. The showers were large with rain shower and a powerful handheld jet, if you liked that option.
Each evening, turn down service was exceptional and the fruit or sweet plate hit the spot.
The most surprising and touching part of it all was the parting gift we were given during our check out. It was a bottle of olive oil and two jars of marmalade from the Contessina farm. A handwritten note thanking us for our stay with them seemed out of place in that it felt we should be giving them a gift for all the warm hospitality.
The only knock is really the town itself, which is a matter of my personal opinion. The good is that the ATV rental place is right across the street so, if you're into that, it was very convenient. The town itself felt a bit like Cabo on spring break. Many bars and cheesy places to go to. The restaurants weren't that unique and many had the same menu items. We didn't venture much out of the hotel and it's, by far, the best property anywhere close to where it's located. Decent walk to a very crowded beach.

Access to beach and free sun chairs is great, pool is nice. View is great. Staff were super helpful and very sweet with the 2 babies we had in the big family holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

I love this resort, lots of shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment, beautiful beach, lovely people, easy to and from airport, short trip. Been here 3 times now because i love it. My favourite bar is Paradise cocktail bar, they put so much effort into making you welcome and as a lone traveller, this was so important for me. I dodnt have a favourite restaurant, I ate in a few as like to try places and all the food was good.

Tsilivi is a very busy resort it is on a very busy road with lots of shops and restaurants. The road runs the length of the resort with lorries coaches etc .
However it has beautiful bays and beaches lovely swimming places . I would recommend staying off the main road if you don't like traffic noise.
There are plenty of restaurants cocktail bars etc
It is quite expensive and average meal around ,30 euro and a sunbed on beach 15 no longer cheap place to stay.

Really cute city, its nice choice if you go with partner or kids. Also good location if you are a someone who wants to explore island, good start point. It has nice beach with beautiful water.
There are a lot of restaurants and every restaurant is special on their way. It has a golf park its real fun and you should go check it. About prices in restaurants for example Mousaka (traditional greek food) price goes from 10-14 euros. Bus that can take you to Zakynthos city 1.60. From airport zakyntos price is 2 euro. Taxi to airport is 25-28 euros. I would recommend if you like wines you should always check their local wines they are pure gold(about price 4-7eur for 500ml)
Our stay at Porto Planos Beach Hotel was incredible. We stayed all inclusive and the food was really good waiters were very friendly and helpful.
There was a great selection of all inclusive drinks, all made by our bartender George who very easy to talk to and great at making cocktails.
The views from the terrace bar are breath taking and with the swimming pool next to rear to take a swim.
The hotel is a five minute walks from the 2nd best beach in Zante.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit.
The hotel location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk to the beach and the main street of Planos-Tsilivi where is plenty of choice for restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. The village is quite bussy in the late afternoons and evenings but the street noise is very dim. You can enjoy yourself at the pool and the bar. The rooms are of good size with air conditioned and these are cleaned daily. The staff is doing the best for the guests to have a comfortable stay. Thank you very much for your welcomness.
kind and attentive staff, rooms and food were good quality. Pool was lovely and cool in the heat, arranging taxis was easy and smooth, a 5 minute walk froma beautiful beach. you can stay all day in the hotel and be happy and content. We got to see the beauty of zante in a relaxing way and there are also nearby bars which are fun. Zante is a really beautiful island, i would reccomend the car rental next door he is really good and its a great way to explore the island.
The balcony hotel was in an amazing location, right on the beach with fantastic views. We were able to watch the sunset every evening. The hotel was run by Dimitri and Elena who are fabulous and really look after the guests like they are family. The food was fab with homemade carrot cake which was divine and nothing was too much effort. Would really recommend this and will definately return to the balcony hotel.
Tota Studios is located in a really nice quiet area but near the beach and downtown. in general I am very happy to have chosen this place. the hosts Maria and Filippo were very friendly and always there to help . At same time my privacy was respected. my appartment met my expectations; was also very clean with air conditioning and nice terrace overlooking the beautiful landscape.
The staff are very accommodating, genuinely kind and friendly. The room was really cosy for our 1 week stay (we had the room with the jacuzzi). Breakfast and dinner (half board) were great, good variety. Direct access to the beach and close to shops, restaurants and the centre of Tsilivi. There were always available parking spots right outside the hotel.
we received a very warm welcome from Yiannis and a cold beer. We were given the choice of 2 apartments and decided on the 1st floor apartment No. 23. This is the best apartment for sun in the evening when it has gone from the pool area.

Super location, the best seaview in Tsilivi. Very clean apartments, attention to details in room (like tea, coffee, sugar, water, juice, marmalade). Apartments are on a small hill, but thanks to this perfect view. Very very close to the beach, beach was clean and wide, water clean. I really liked the place.
The hotel was probably the best looking around, the room was modern and comfortable and the pool was outstanding! The staff was very helpful at all times and we turned to them for quite a lot of help- getting a car when there were none, restaurant recommendations and more. Definitely recommended.
I took my daughter to Zante for a getaway for 4 nights. The hotel was everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The location is EXCELLENT!!! We were out a lot so the room met our needs perfectly. We could even make basic meals. We would return 100%. Definite value for money.

The worst hotel you can find in Zante, we left the room after 30 minutes of the check-in. We asked for a full refund and they told us that they will never give us our money back. We have one of the biggest travel agency in Greece and that was our first time really bad experience.
Actually we were upgraded to Olea All Suite Hotel since Zante Maris was still closed. Our stay was fantastic: friendly staff, comfortable room with private pool. Breakfast is probably best ever!!!!
