Fantastic historical city but coach loads of people arrive every day and the bars and food around the cathedral area are accordingly expensive regular vodka and coke €9.00! 200ml red wine €6.00
Walk a few minuets and the prices become more acceptable

A bustling place with plenty to do and see.
A bustling place with plenty to do and see. Visit everything and take every opportunity to go everywhere - most sights are within walking distance although the number of tourists can make this a slow process in certain areas and at certain times of day! Most things are very reasonably priced so you won't regret it.

It was pouring with rain most of the time but our overall impression of Cordoba was very positive. It was bustling without being frenetic, the people were warm and friendly and the Mezquita was quite amazing. We wish we’d had more time and would very much like to go back.

Delightful town with pedestrianised centre and charming streets. Quite touristy around the main attraction - the mosque/cathedral (Mezquita) but that's understandable as it's a stunning and unique building. The Roman bridge across the river is attractive too and worth walking across for the view of the town. We were less impressed by the bus trip to the Medina Azahara - a ruined Arab city 7km out of town - fairly dull compared to the Mezquita and the vigilant guards prevented us from sititng down anywhere onsite, so we were unable to eat the picnic we'd brought! However, don't miss the huge and beautiful Alcazar gardens near the Mezquita - a much more relaxing place to spend an afternoon.

A fantastically rich historic town with so much to remind...
A fantastically rich historic town with so much to remind you of the cultural integration of muslim, jewish and christian communities. But there is also a living town too with great food music, and art in the contemporary art centre. Only problem is at the weekend it is overrun with Spanish stag and hen parties, so it can get VERY LOUD and quite overwhelming.
I stayed in a lot of hotels while in Spain and this one was my favorite! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic, I did get an upgrade for a very small amount and had a small kitchen and sitting area with couch included. They had extra towels and blankets, extra amenities in the bathroom like toothbrushes and bath sponges and shaving kit. It seems like this hotel really went the extra mile! There was a terrace upstairs Lots of information in lobby about tourist attractions.
It was one of the best locations in Spain so far, super comfortable furniture (bed and sofa, also a little table for work) inside a room and common space, almost absolutely silent space with relaxing sound of water coming through windows, peace and air conditioning. There was even space for little cooking! Apartaments are located inside a patio in a very peaceful area of Córdoba, quite close to main must-sees, but also close to non-touristic attractions, like very local bars and churches.
We stayed in a room that directly connected to the pool/courtyard and absolutely loved it! This was the first place we stayed in Spain, and honestly, nowhere else really compared. The location is spot on if you're looking to be in the middle of it all, everything was very clean, the shower was amazing (I told my husband we are officially getting a rain-style showerhead after used the one in this room), and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Would recommend it over and over again.
close to shops, attractions, restaurants, parking nearby. Very clean with basics provided (Coffee, tea/kettle a couple of pans/pots) Shower was the best I've experienced in my 2 wks in Spain-nice temperature, pressure, adjustable flow AND the shower door closed properly so no leaks or water all over!! YAY! :) Temperature/heat was lovely with air-flow from open windows. Towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper provided adequately for my stay.
The location at Plaza de las Tendillas is perfect, 8 min walk to Jewish Quarter, Alcazar and Mezquita. Public Garage 100 meter from hotel (20 euro 24hrs, reservation recommended). Staff exceptionally polite and professional, quality hotel impecable and worth 5 star rating. Breakfast very good. Roof Terrace with Barservice overlooking Plaza de las Tendillas.
Junior Suite is specious with nice balcony, excellent beds.
Incredible "hostel" that is really a hotel, with luxury level amenities and a MASSIVE bathroom that is spotless. The entire experience was flawless. This is easily the best hostel if not one of the best hotels I've stayed in over multiple trips in Spain. The location is also perfect as it's close to many attractions, the train station, a taxi stand, and just off the beaten path so it's absolutely silent at night.
The staff are extraordinary. When I was sick, they arranged for me to get excellent medical support and organised communication and transport with no fuss. Day to day service is excellent as well. The team is friendly and super professional. Hotel Madinat will book you into a session at a hammam in close walking distance. This place is beautiful, historic and serene. Don't miss it, choose a quiet time.
Realy nice place in the middle of the historic city. Very friendly hotel team... treat you like family. ... but the best was the little terrace up on the roof... so relaxing, peaceful, in the evening light and just the buzz of the city down below. Met and chatted with very interesteing other guests up there too!
I loved every thing about this hotel! It’s beautiful, large, peaceful, clean, stylish and luxurious.
The staff are super friendly and nice. The underground baths are so cool and relaxing.
. Everywhere you look is simply gorgeous. A must stay when in Cordoba!
Located in close enough to be in just a couple minutes at any significant point of interest in Cordoba but in the same time in a quiet area. Hotel has a parking lot which is very important if you travel by car. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Amazing hostel! The best I stayed in during my 2 weeks in Spain. Big room, with nice clean beds. Nice kitchen area. But really the room and bathrooms were the highlight. Was finally able to take an enjoyable shower and have good sleep!
Clean, reasonably comfortable and everything worked, which seems to be a rarity at this price point in Spain. Just on the edge of old town Cordoba about a 20 minute walk from the historic center.
Location was great really close to main atractions, Cordoba is a really beautiful city this hotel was well locate, breakfast was excelent, people at the frontdesk really nice very clean hotel.
Very cozy and chic boutique hotel that’s at the center of Cordoba. The staff were cheerful and helpful, giving us tips of good places to eat and visit, and accompanied us to the parking.
This is the best hotel in Cordoba and also in Spain, it was built in the Middle Ages. Everything from the furniture and the hotel is antique
The staff is very kind and helpful
Location was ideal. It was the best situated hotel within walking distance to all the sights. The staff are extremely polite and honest. The rooms were impeccably clean.
Amazing guesthouse. In an amazing location, wonderful food and value for money,, possibly one of the best places to visit in the region and the whole of Spain
