Quaint building with lovely terrace at top of hotel .
Cádiz might be a small strip of land, but being the oldest inhabited city in Spain, it means that it’s covered with monuments from different ages and cultures. Beautiful sandy beaches kissed by crystalline waters are also part of its magic, while you won’t be able to forget that you’re in Andalusia, land of music and passion.
Founded by Phoenicians, it had Greek, Roman, Arab and Visigoth influence, and the Age of Discoveries reclaimed its fame as port city. It became a cosmopolitan centre of commerce, enriching a heritage still visible in its historic centre. Don’t miss its narrow streets, colourful squares, the Roman theatre, and the imposing and eclectic Cathedral. Some of the most unique hotels in Cádiz are located in the Old Town.
The newer districts include wide avenues and contemporary buildings. These are the areas of Cádiz with a larger offering of modern hotels on the beach and apartments for rent. Restaurants and cafés serving great local, Andalusian and Spanish specialities are also easy to find.
The railway stations of Estadio, Segunda Aguada, and Central link the city with the rest of the country, while the nearby Jerez Airport is 47 km away. If thinking of visiting southern Spain, check out the Cádiz accommodation deals on Booking.com!

Second trip to Cadiz.
Second trip to Cadiz. I liked it even better the second time. It's a lovely city to just wander in. Just enough attractions to keep one busy but not enough that you are exhausted trying to see everything. Parks are lovely, harbour is a great area to walk in, and the city streets are fascinating. Great food everywhere we went.

We loved the Convento Hotel as it was centrally located and made visiting attractions, restaurants and beaches very easy for us. The atmosphere in the city on Thursday 11th. of April was electric with the arrival of 3 cruise ships . We met some of the said participants who were only too willing to share their experiences. This made our road trip to Cadiz even more memorable, We enjoyed eating at La Chanca restaurant right beside the hotel so much, we went back a second night. Cadiz is well worth a visit.

There is not much to do or see in Cadiz, but if you're the kind of traveler that likes strolling down the street and find hidden gems, this is the place for you! It has a lovely atmosphere, spontaneous flamenco singing (closer to the flamenco school), nice beaches and super friendly people.
you can totally skip the museum, and if you go to the cathedral, don't forget to climb up the tower. The view is fantastic! Also, if you're a vegetarian, better bring some food from home.

Unfortunately we were only there for a day and happened to hit it on a gale force wind. We were stuck in our room. The town did look lovely though.
BEST Italian restaurant - La Mafia right near the hotel.
This apartment is a very clean and cosy place and has everything you need for a good stay. The living room was great to relax in the evenings. Iloved the sofas and the rocking chairs with the sea view. Having two nice and big bathrooms with bathtubs was very convenient with six people staying.
Great location right on the beach and with a great bus connection to go to Cádiz old town.
Good location right next to the city hall square. The room is OK, but the door is a bit hard and noisy to lock and unlock. The toilet is right outside my room, so it's easy to access. There is a huge supermarket next to Mercado Central de Cádiz (walkable from the pension) where you can find anything you need.
The flat was really perfect for our long stay - good Internet connection, all the basic facilities, well equipped kitchen, clean rooms and bathroom. No issues with entering, using keys, etc. Good contact with the host team. The location is great too, between old town and the best beach in Cadiz.
The hotel is the most beautiful historic town house that has been renovated exceptionally. It is centrally located in the old town of Cadiz. My room was spacious and very comfortable with a big bed and immaculately clean. The staff I spoke to were all extremely friendly and welcoming.
New Hotel. Lovely spacious room with nice view of ocean. Delicious varied breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Across the road from ocean but quite a walk from Cadiz old town- on the bus route though. Lots of restaurants nearby. Kettle and tea making station.
Light and bright modern design yet with Spanish courtyards in the middle to give airy and spacious feeling. Next to the best restaurants of Cadiz, Casa Manteca, La Tabernita, El Faro. Very cheery and friendly staff. Big thumbs up to Anabel and Ana.
Great quirky hotel, very clean throughout, helpful reception, underground parking close by. Good sized bedroom with fabulous large bathroom.
Hotel location was perfect for exploring Cadiz old town, and what a beautiful place.
The hotel is beautiful, the central location is perfect and our room was very spacious. The staff are fantastic and gave us great advice for the best restaurants to eat at which really made our trip to Cádiz perfect.
a beautiful apartment in a great location in the old town of Cadiz, 2 minutes walk to the cathedral. the apartment was spacious and had everything you needed. The roof terrace was a real bonus. Staff were so helpful.
The hotel is right on the beach which is enormous and immaculately clean. Our room had a side sea view which was lovely. The hotel is a short 10 minute bus ride from the centre of Cadiz which is a fantastic city.
We had a double room with (tiny) balcony that faced the street. Great location to explore Cadiz, Old Town, beaches & Centro. Lively front desk staff & having a cafe in the lobby was great for morning coffee.
Location in the heart of Cadiz old town. You feel like a local. Walking distance to everywhere. Beautiful apartment and very friendly and accomodating host. Loved it!!! Highly recommended.
We got a very warm welcome and a very interesting explanation of the history of the hotel. The concierge was bright and knowledgeable about places to see and restaurants to try in Cadiz.
Perfect location for everything in Cadiz!
The reception was super friendly and helpful
The apartment was modern and cool, really helped after a time on the beach or in the city!
