I felt like part of the family. Grandma even came to say goodbye to me, which was touching. I can't speak highly enough about the professionalism, organisational skills, cooking, my God the cooking is world class! Excursions, ect, ect. I had the best week Vietnam experience. DIEM is a wonderful, inciteful, witty, communicative woman The meals you eat are home grown/caught from the river, freshest, most beautifully cooked and presented. The accomodation is new, clean, perfect. The homestay is down a small road of the main road but access is easy and Diem a very good driver of the electric buggy. I could go on telling you about how wonderful my experiences were, however my advice is go, go, go, dont hesitate. A long weekend or a week or two. You'll have a marvellous holiday packed with good memories.This is rural Vietnam at its best and considering my other experiences, very cheap and great value. Ill be back, maybe more than a few times.

The location is out there, but that should be expected and known when you book! The island it is on is lovely to explore with beautiful coconut farms and river views. They do not rent motorbikes on the property, but I was able to rent one from down the road and use it during my time there. The property does have bikes for free usage though! The room is very large and there is a mosquito net over the bed, which is a welcome sight because it is set on a river in the woods, so insects are a natural byproduct. The staff were so lovely, they even drove me over an hour to my next stop so that I would not have to navigate two Grabs and a bus!
