The cottage is in a beautiful and quiet mountain area, close to the Bâlea Waterfall (Cascada Bâlea) (15 min by car) where the cable car starts, which takes you up to the Bâlea Lake. Very nice room, superb shower and bathroom, has a shared kitchen. It also has a porch with chairs to sit and relax and a grill area, which we did not use as it was winter. The host is very kind and helpful, they live in the house next to the cottage. It was a perfect stay.

Located in Arefu, Cabana Zimbru Transfagarasan offers accommodation with flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a bar. Amazing place! Near the mountains and forest, and a lake. Very cozy and comfortable. A great place to stay.

Located in Arefu, next to the Transfăgărășan Road and 1 km from the Piscu Negru Ski Slope, Cabana Dara offers free barbecue facilities, a terrace and a restaurant. the room was very nice and cozy. The staff was kind, even if the level of English was not good we managed to communicate.
