The paintings Pablo has done around the place are stunning and they offer so much knowledge and stories about their kukama people. The place is a lovely rustic oasis to relax in. The locals around were also very lovely and cooked delicious food. Highly recommend this place, even if it a little far from Iquitos.

The Jacamar Lodge Expeditions is located on the banks of the Amazon River, in the middle of the jungle and 120 km from downtown Iquitos. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.
