With river views, casa montañista lodge & camping is set in Huaraz and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and picnic area. In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.

Beautiful mountain setting overlooking the Rio Santa below.. The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Great location for those who don't like being in the hustle and bustle of the city. It's easy and cheap to catch a collectivo (mini van) into the city of Hauraz.

Staff are wonderful, especially general manager Daniel, who catered to absolutely every need and was welcoming, friendly, and professional. He even arranged for a fantastic masseuse to come to the property as I recovered from a trek. I enjoyed touring the gardens and finding a peaceful spot by the river behind the hotel where I took a nap. 10/10 would recommend, and I'll definitely be back again!

Located in Huaraz, 10 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa, Domos Cordillera Blanca features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace. A bicycle rental service is available at the lodge. Everything! We absolutely loved to stay in this beautiful place, the views are stunning,the food is delicious, the staff are so kind and attentive, the tents are spaciois and have comfortable beds. You have free acces to tea and water throughout the day and the Domes offer additional beverages to buy once there. It is outside of the city Huaraz, but it makes sense to stay here as you have easy acces to so many unknown and beatiful lakes and walking routes. Staying here was an absolut highligt of our trip and we left wanting to stay there longer.

The best place I stayed in Peru. Bely and Jorge speak english and they were very helpful in organizing trips and taxi and everything. Such a good vibes. Thanks a lot guys. The food was increadible. Speactacular views from anywhere. I would love to come back here next time in Peru

Almost all units include a balcony and/or patio. the location is amazing. walk to the mountains from the place. dinner and breakfast amazing. the sustainability of the place is great.

The first half of our trip was not smooth until we met them... Since the minute we were dropped off from the collectivo after crazy road ride from Yungay and saw welcoming hand wave everything has changed to completely opposite positive side! They've changed the whole mood of our adventure and gave us mental support we needed to finish what we have planned. I cannot describe this couple - you have to meet them! Extremely friendly, smart, fun, unique people who we did not want to leave neither for the night nor next morning! Not to mention their beautiful donkey Benicio that I fell in love with and gorgeous cat that most likely has a "blue blood".
