About a 30 minute drive to the closest city (with more stores and whatnot.) Camping places along the roads, aswell as sauna locations not too far from the house.

A very sweet cabin, small but very comfortable, the bed was made from two single beds placed in right angles to each other - a sliding door that will allow a double bed could be a good idea to consider by the owner we also had use of a magnificent sauna with fantastic views to host was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay between the cabin and the lake. There is a road that was a bit busy during the day, but very quiet at night so it was not a problem. The city of Stryn is very close with a nice supermarket and the owner recommended magnificent hikes
