Situated just 600 metres from Djamanjary Beach, Lodge Villa MAYANKI offers accommodation in Dzamandzar with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as full-day security. Lovely place, lovely staff, has everything you need. A little far from everything but a great getaway. we had scooters to move around so it was perfect. Owner was very helpful too. Would recommend.

Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person. Featuring a garden and sun terrace, Sangany Lodge offers detached bungalows on the beach in the north of Nosy-Be Island. This place is amazing for a taking good rest in the heart of the ocean. It is remote and peaceful. Staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended. Just know that you are far from everything here.

On the east coast of Nosy-Be, Manga Soa Lodge is located in the middle of a tropical garden and offers a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean. Each morning I would slowly open the wooden doors of my cabin to the sun reaching out across the ocean toward me. It is paradise. At all times you feel connected to your environment, the structure of the properties brings the outside in in such an elegant way. The massage above the rocky shore was blissful, the staff were delightful.

With sea views, Les Paillottes de Babaomby Hotel is located in Diego Suarez and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Amazing stay. We were the only ones as it was low season and they were super accommodating. It was very peaceful, just what we needed. The staff was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the views!!!! Simply wow. The only thing missing was a beach but everything else more than made up for it! They even managed to make a last minute cake for my birthday 🥹
