This was an ideal stay with close access to Sinharaja rainforest. Peacocks, local birds, and a family dog on premises.The location is unbeatable for a unique and quiet stay surrounded by the jungle. We participated in both the night and day hikes led by Chamara and these were a highlight for our trip. Additionally, Mama’s cooking was exceptional and the best food we had all trip. The family arranged taxi to and from the coast. Wonderful family, great vibes, and a trip highlight

The location of this accommodation is fantastic, situated just a quick 50-meter walk from the beach and offering incredibly easy access to Galle Road. The room and linen were exceptionally clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the quality of the bathroom fittings and the convenience of having a private entrance and a personal fridge (not a mini-bar) in the room. This added a lot of value and privacy to our visit. ​As a small suggestion for improvement, it would be beneficial to add a curtain to the bathroom window for enhanced privacy.

This place is truly a sanctuary of peace and pure nature. We arrived in the early afternoon, walking up a stone path, which was not a problem having light bags. The staff welcomed us warmly, and we immediately felt like being in paradise - the great valley views, forest, and small river. The room was super nice with wooden furniture, a comfy bed, a large outdoor lounge and a hammock. Later, we had a refreshing swim in the natural pool surrounded by forest. Dinner was great as well, really fresh and well combined local cuisine. In the night, we watched fireflies and bats buzzing around with sounds of frogs and crickets. It was nicely cool, and we even had the windows open to enjoy the sounds and have a breeze. Surprisingly, there were not many mosquitos due to the higher altitude. We highly recommend staying a few days more, which we will do when coming next time.

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax. Location, just right on the beach. Room was very clean.

The location was perfect—just a five-minute walk to the beach, yet backing onto the jungle, which made it beautifully peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved spending time on the balcony watching and listening to the resident wildlife. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

I liked the location, the view, the room (ac was working perfectly, hot water, comfortable bed). The homemade food they were making was tasty and also reasonable priced. Also by the river seeing crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys and comodo dragon was fascinating.

The owner Dasitha is fantastic, he has created a little bit of paradise that is within walking distance to stunning beaches. Breakfast on both mornings was incredible, I would return for just his breakfast 😋 you will not find a better host, better food or a better price than Lunuvila 10 stars. Istuti
