Vicino all’ingresso nella foresta. Ci hanno fornito tour nella giungla con guida altrettanto super. Non posso che consigliare questa location!

Situato a Deniyaya, il Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort offre la vista sul fiume, un ristorante e il servizio in camera. La connessione Wi-Fi e il parcheggio privato sono accessibili gratuitamente. La strada che porta alla struttura si addentra nella foresta e arriva ad una struttura bellissima! Le camere sono ampie, pulite e con una vetrata sul bellissimo paesaggio! I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili, ci hanno accolto con un drink di benvenuto e sono venuti incontro ad ogni necessità. Anche la guida che ci ha accompagnato nell'escursione nella foresta é stata molto brava, preparata e sempre sorridente! Assolutamente consigliato!

Situato a Deniyaya, il Rainforest Mount Lodge offre un barbecue e la vista sulle montagne. They were Very welcoming, recieved us with a natural juice. The food was really good and well served, Very big portions. All the family was very attentive and concerned with our well-being. The view was very nice.

My recent stay at Charming Dark Lodge in River was nothing short of exceptional, marking it as the best homestay experience I have ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that exceeded all expectations. The highlight of our stay was undeniably our incredible host, who spared no effort in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. From delicious lunches and dinners to delightful surprises and the most mouth-watering fish barbecue - probably the best meal I have had in the two months I have been in Sri Lanka. Beyond the culinary delights, our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. Departing was bittersweet, as we had grown attached to the unparalleled hospitality and the tranquil ambiance of our temporary home. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Its unmatched hospitality, and inviting ambiance have left an indelible mark on my travel memories. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly exceptional homestay experience in Sri Lanka.

Offering a garden and pool view, Greencliff Mirissa is situated in Mirissa, 2.8 km from Weligama Beach and 34 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. The pool is part jacuzzi, so that was a pleasant surprise. Quiet surroundings with a fantastic paddy field view. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils with a decent supply of spices and condiments. Would definitely come back here.

From the formal side: Very good European cuisine every day, ocean right in front of your door, amazing wild life and very attentive, approachable personnel, which suits all of your needs. From my heart: Apart from a really incredible picturesque location, which would really touch something inside your inner world, the staff’s scrupulous attention to your needs makes this stay unforgettable and gives the warmth as if you are staying at home. My most sincere and deep thanks to Vie ta Vis Mirissa, to all of lovely people, who made my family’s stay so enjoyable, and separately to Mr. Abheetha, as well as Mr.Darrell And Mrs Vajira.

Set in Mirissa in the Matara District region, Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa features a balcony. It is located 2.1 km from Weligama Beach and provides room service. Honestly was probably our best stay in Sri Lanka. In the past we ran out into an issue that reviews/photos on booking don't reflect the reality but not in this case. The property looks better in reality. Super clean and we had everything we needed and staff was so helpful. It is a 10 minutes drive from the beach but you can rent a scooter from the property. And it is super quiet, we had such a relaxing time having breakfast with squirrels and birds. The villa was build by the owner family and you can tell that they are proud of their work and they maintain it very well. Overall, amazing, book there you won't regret it.

The hosts are amazing!! It's run by two brothers on their parents' tea plantation. The two brothers are helpful, caring, polite, and very eager to show you around in their village. And I will absolutely encourage you to let them show you around. Their mum makes the most delicious meals, better than any restaurants I've visited during my 3 weeks stay. The little house has a beautiful view of the rain forest. I really enjoyed sitting on the little balcony drinking coffee. It's a kettle in the room so you can have coffee or tea whenever you like to. They also arranged a walk in Sinharaja for me, it was a very nice walk, about 4 hours. We didn't see a lot, so if you're interested in birds, I will recommend doing some of the longer hikes. And even go in another gate than the closest one.
