Made and his entire staff took excellent care of us during our stay. Our bed was the most comfortable bed we have had on our entire trip. Breakfast was cooked fresh & reasonably priced. The pool was a relaxing start /end to our day. There was a variety of spa services available and they arranged for them come to the villa on the day/time we picked. He was able to recommend delicious places to eat dinner and even arranged transport for all of the places we wanted to go. Exeptional services, we highly recommend staying.

Everything about Dune Alaya was sensational. The staff are amazing. The beautiful log houses are so special, if you are looking for an authentic bali experience, with a community feel but also so much room to take your own space, I wouldn't look anywhere else but here. There is truly something very special about Dune Alaya and we will definitely be back!

Sacred Beji by GenuineHost ligger 11 km från Neka Art Museum och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en balkong och gratis WiFi. We chose the Sacred Beji to enjoy its calm jungle surroundings and it did not disappoint. The setting was very private and we enjoyed the use of the pool (shared by two villas) almost exclusively for ourselves. The staff at Sacret Beji was ready to help us with anything - Ami in particular made the extra effort and assisted us with various requests including booking us an amazing massage at the premises. The Jackfruit Restaurant, which is part of the larger complex, had a large variety of food, and everything we tried there was delicious. We explored the surrounding areas by scooters but anyone can easily hire cheap taxis to get around - Ubud is about 30 minutes south and Mt Batur is about 45 minutes north :)

Rice fields, little ponds, pretty grass, good hosts.

We stayed in the only two bedroom villa at Oemah Tepi Sawah to celebrate my birthday. It was the most amazing birthday I've had for years! For all I had hope for, was to spend some time in the nature, the quiet part of Bali, and Oemah Tepi Sawah was the perfect place for me. We spent two nights and everything was perfect. From the homecook meal they served during breakfast and dinner, unto the grounds itself which was surrounded by rice paddies and tropical jungle. Not to mention the staffs were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They are very polite to the guests including us who are actually local Indonesian. They spoke other languages like Dutch and English, and I have to give my hats off to ibu Dewi who is the owner of Oemah. We had a nice conversation on the last day we were there, and was very helpful in providing us information about the Subak Coffee (local grown coffee that was grown around the area). We would definitely come back, as we are nature lovers. Read the reviews before you book this place, don't expect a 5 star a hotel experience in the city. This place is for you to getaway from the craziness in the city, and be one with the nature!
