Close to everything we needed and a little shop right next door . The Jolly Sailor Pub is across the road and does very good homemade food until 8pm . Very friendly.

The food quality was phenomenal, the staff were always ready to assist and the views where incredible. The surrounding area is easily accessible, the Eden Project only being a 40 minute drive away. We decided to "splurge" on Christmas dinner all cooked by one of the owners and it was the best 3 and a half hours of eating we have ever experienced. If you like nachos these are the best we have ever tasted and honestly we would do the 5 + hour drive for them alone! We look forward to visiting again. Best Christmas ever!

Everything it was brilliant, clean,comfortable,warm and secluded away from the hub ub of life we thoroughly enjoyed it even had dummy run at Christmas Lunch !

Hillhead Hideaway is a beautiful, hand crafted treasure and is such a testament to the owners. The hideaway is cozy, clean and comfortable and the owners were extremely friendly and full of great recommendations for different places to visit.
